Conveniently situated around the corner from Aldgate East. Clean and cosy rooms with a great bathroom. Very nice continental breakfast buffet with fairly priced update options. Restaurant for fine dining with a small but sufficient card. One can order ala card or choose from a set menue variety. The staff will go out of their way to help and assist... More

I can thoroughly recommend this serene, side street, hotel that is close to so many useful facilities and interesting places. It doesn't look much from the outside but never judge a book just by its cover! Inside it is elegant, affordable, luxury that more than satisfies a city hotel experience; with great staff, great rooms, and great public areas. Including... More

This is a good hotel just 12 mins walk from Bank. Good location near Aldgate tube station. Rooms are nice, very new and at least the rear facing rooms are quiet. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is worth it and fair priced. Lots of dining and drinking options in the area. Good place for staying in London on a... More

Great quality rooms with nespresso machines. Good size, good beds & bedding. Excellent bathroom with quality fittings. All with the most excellent service, from every staff member we dealt with, that we have ever had when staying in London. We normally opt for the west end but wanted to visit lime house and the east end on this visit and... More

Stayed here for a business meeting. - Very handy for the tube station (Aldgate east) - Clean spacious rooms. - Meeting room was a bit small and in the basement so no windows in the room we had. Last minute booking made for location only but glad I did. Single room was lovely and spacious, generous tea and coffee facilities and great location for restaurants. It was more ham I would usually want to spend but was worth it and I'll definitely stay there again

Although I lament the gentification that has changed Whitechapel and Spitalsfield so dramatically, it was lovely to stay at a very nice hotel in the center of Whitechapel (Brick Lane and Osborn Street). Location in Whitechapel is an excellant springboard to explore London. The hotel rooms are comfortable, spacious and well kept. The shower was very good. Continental breakfast was excellant and the restaurant food very good. But like many hotels it is the staff who put the icing on the cake: friendly, always smiling and very helpful. Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
