Situated a minutes’ walk from Aldgate East Tube Station and on the gateway to Brick Lane, one of London’s foremost tourist attractions, City Hotel London is ideal for those people on a business trip and for those on a City break. The West End for its theatres and shopping is only ten minutes by tube to the west and the Olympic Stadium, including the fabulous Westfield Shopping Centre, is ten minutes to the east. We are within a short stroll to Spitalfields, famed for its great shopping and eateries, as well as The Whitechapel Art Gallery, The Tower of London and the East End’s famous street markets. The hotel offers a full English breakfast, noted for providing the best English sausages we can find. 24 hour room service is available and the Lane Bar and Restaurant is a great place to eat, drink and relax. Our rooms can sleep up to five adults and two children and are all en suite with great showers, flat screen TV and in-room safes. We also have car parking if required.Conference and banqueting facilities are also available at great prices and we can arrange for pick ups from all London Airports and Railway Stations.

Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.

Decent location just 2 min walk from Aldgate East Underground, would have enjoyed if the rooms were any big. But all utilities packed in a small pad is sonething which still amazes me. The road outside is also closed for some work which is snywsys hassle.

Hi, you may already have called the hotel, but there are 18 rooms which are specifically disabled access, all equipped with bath tubs, the remainder of the rooms have walk in showers. Hope that helps. If you need any further assistance please call reception, they will be able to help. Regards, Andrew

Previous answer is correct but it does involve changing tubes 3 times to reach it. Covent Garden tube stop is off the Piccadilly line. Changing lines can involve lots of walking if that is problem and Covent garden is you primary destination maybe a hotel off the Piccadilly line would be better.
