We stayed here in the spring for 4 days, the location was fantastic, the rooms were large and well appointed. You are walking distance to many of the attractions in London. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Perfect location with a short walking distance to all attractions, restaurants and shopping areas. Good service from the staff and in general a nice hotel. On the negative side the rooms are small, with old carpets on the floor. Although the cleaning is OK the hotel could need some refurbishing and upgrade. Good breakfast. Small gym, but it had the...

It's fair to say that this hotel is by no means cheap, but as our stay was a birthday treat for my wife I didn't mind paying more for a luxury hotel. Well I paid for a luxury hotel, but that is certainly not what I got. Shoved in a pokey room on the third floor with a view of...

The location right on Leicester Square is great for many things -- easy walks to Trafalgar, Piccadilly, Soho, Covent Garden. The tube is nearby, Green Park is nearby for exercise, most theaters are nearby and there are many restaurants nearby, including Chinatown. The hotel is nice, the staff are very helpful and the room I had was perfectly fine.

We stayed or 2 nights and thought that the hotel was in a great location, the staff could not have been more pleasant or helpful. If we visit London again, we would not hesitate to stay here. Easy access to Underground station, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly, Covent Garden, Theatre Land all within walking distance.

the room is really small..for what is supposed to be a superior room..and the chairs have foam which is long gone..toilet is equally small..service is decent..small lobby..very good breakfast and service at breakfast..overall poor cost benefit given the quality and size of the room..

Clean, comfortable, friendly hotel in a reasonably quiet neighbourhood, within easy walking distance to many west end theatres, Covent Garden and oxford street. We had breakfast included in our stay of which there was plenty of choice to get you started for the day. Would definitely stay here again.

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
