You need a key card to use the lift... and ours didn't work once... not once, each time we had to get a member of staff to come and put a card into the lift... at one point there were 3 of us in the lift from different parties and none of our key cards worked. Then there was the...

I booked in this hotel for 2 days with couple of friends for a business trip. The staff are extra ordinary helpful and friendly. It is outstanding in all its areas, cleanliness location staff experience and so. Yes it was short stay but very well-worthed to staying more.

Stayed for 5 nights, the hotel is nice, good breakfast area. The rooms look a bit worn out, the reception told me there is a plan to refurbish the rooms. Typical for London hotels that the rooms are not very big, but room size is okay.

Nice enough hotel - but a little worn at the edges, not quite shabby, but close. Room smallish with little room for even my small suitcase. Had to be placed in front of the wardrobe, thus blocking that from use as well as the in-room safe. In-room safe placed so high in the wardrobe that you could not see into...

Stayed for 2 nights, attending a conference. Room (single) was rather small, internet excellent. Bathroom large compared to the room, small wardrobe. Nice location, close to Oxford street and Marble Arch underground station. Professional check-in, staff are very friendly. Breakfast ok, nice bar to have a drink. Restaurant not bad, but I suggest to go outside.

Stayed one night in a standard guest room on the 6th floor. The room was small, with cheap wooden flooring which made it very uninviting. The room didn't feel particularly clean, a previous guest had left an old sandwich wrapped in foil in the minibar, no idea how long it had been there for!! Breakfast wasn't very nice either with...

Radisson Blu Portman Hotel is really great choice for stay in London. The location is just perfect! Only 5 min walk from the Oxford street. You can feel that the hotel is not the brand new (especially you feel it at bathroom), but the service is perfect, rooms are nice and comfortable, breakfast is delicious. Great choice. Recommended!

Stayed for a week whilst on a course at the London business school. Slightly disappointed as LBS state that they get preferential rates here but when I phoned to get them - the hotel stated that they don't do that anymore - no idea whose at fault. Anyhow I was put in the 11 th floor and the lift stops...

After another short trip to trip we had an excellent stay at the Radisson Portman. Rooms a little tired however would stay anywhere else as hotel staff great and always greet with a smile on their faces and make the effort to do so.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
