I stayed here recently in one of the suites. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The lounge food was enough for a dinner and the free wine and cocktails were a nice surprise. American lounges never have that. I've stayed in other Marriott properties in London and this is by far my favorite. I look forward to returning to the Sheraton. My only minor complaint is the lack of ice machines and needing to call room service.…

Art deco delight in the middle of London

Sheraton Grand has retained some of its original art deco interior with a modern attractions, and it's directly opposite Green Park and so some of the rooms have a great view into the park! and Buckingham Palace and many other attractions are just a short walk away. Staff are absolutely wonderful, and went out of their way to help recover a left-in-the-taxi rucksack - which was returned within 40 mins! Great location and great staff makes for a great stay, will definitely return when next in London. …

Lovely hotel great location

I have stayed at this hotel before 3 years ago. I love the location. Last time I had the green park suite and it was superb! This time I did not have a suite but the room was fine and the manager had a nice note with tray of fruit as a welcome gift. The staff is very friendly and try to make any accommodation you need. It is just a 5 minute walk to the Green Park underground station and Buckingham Palace is just across the park. The club lounge has a nice breakfast and a friendly staff. If I had one complaint is that the fire alarm went off at 3am one night continuously for 20 minutes with no explanation except that there was a “ slight glitch” in the system and, though I know since I travel often, that these things happen, it would have been nice for the hotel to offer some points to accommodate the inconvenience, since it was the first night I had fallen asleep at a decent hour due to jet lag from flying 10 hours. Over all I plan to come back and stay here again. …

Excellent Stay, Highly Recommend

This is a very good hotel. The room was spacious for London and the bed super comfortable. We had access to the Club Lounge for breakfast and the selection was excellent. Highly recommend this for its location as well, walking distance to Buckingham Palace and minutes walk to Green Park jubilee underground station.…

Love this hotel

Great staff, great location, and nice rooms. I've stayed here multiple times and most of the time get upgraded. The suite I'm in now, 151 is a grand park view suite, which is very nice but a bit smaller than last time. The lounge is spacious and has a nice selection of snacks. It's only a few minute walk to the tube and Buckingham is just through the park. I definitely recommend this hotel. …

Has anyone stayed in the Park View Suite? We have a 14 year old and wondered if the rollaway would be comfortable for hin as the sofas do not convert to beds.

My 20 yr old was happy with the rollaway bed.

Can someone share information about the elevators at this property? I’m somewhat claustrophobic and small, cramped elevators concern me. Are the elevators at this property specious and efficient? Any pics appreciated!

Elevators (2) are not small but are separated by the lobby entrance about 40 ft apart and when you hit the elevator button either one can respond, so you will frequently find yourself standing in front of one and dashing to the other. Very inefficient but claustrophobia is not the issue.
