This hotel has exceeded my expectations beyond imagination. Upon arrival I was greeted by the doorman, he kindly advised me that all guests require the temperatures to be taken due to Covid precautions. At the door there is a stand holding up the thermometer which guests are required to stand in front in order to measure their temperatures as well as the hand sanitising facility upon entry which are great features in order to protect staff and guests.

Check-in was very straightforward, the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming and the duty manager Sarin was very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Ankur the General Manager handled my booking with absolute care and detail and really provided me with exceptional customer service alongside Sarin. You both exceeded my expectation and I am grateful for your level of professionalism and customer care.

The lobby is beautifully decorated and well kept with an astonishing floral display and a glistening chandelier to compliment the 5* feel to the hotel.

I was based in the Quebec Suite on the 3rd floor which was absolutely breathtaking. The bed was the nicest feature of the room with a Rolls-Royce style star light at the top of the bed as you lay down. The bed was very comfy and extremely luxurious. The bathroom had a beautiful window feature that looks into the room from the bathtub which can be switched on and off for privacy, the toilet had a Japanese style feature with multiple functions.

The suite also featured a lounge in an adjoining room with a TV, tea/coffee making facilities, mini bar and additional bathroom/shower room done you to a very high spec. Both bathrooms were fully equipped with Elemis toiletries (only the finest). Bathrobes and slippers included.

Views from the suite were very green and refreshing (street view but lots of trees). The suite was very clean, well-kept, and well presented. Complimentary bottle of water was given in the suite.

As we popped out for dinner, all of the staff were extremely friendly greeting us as we went out and as we came back in and wishing us a good night which was lovely. The restaurant on site (Hankie’s) is absolutely delicious and highly recommended! They have an Indian and a European menu however they are best known for their Indian Tapas dishes. The food is absolutely exquisite and shouldn’t be missed.

The location of the hotel is absolutely amazing and falls by Marble Arch, everything is within walking distance so many shops, bars and restaurants around locally. The hotel also offers a car service if transport is required for guests.

Overall, I was extremely impressed by this hotel, by the customer service, by the incredible management team, by the food, by the location, by the cleanliness and by my overall experience. I will definitely be booking here again in the near future.

Thank you to the team.

I truly enjoyed staying at the hotel with my wife where we celebrated our anniversary. Every single member of staff at the hotel was nice and helpful. Everything we asked for was delivered to us.
One extra feature which all rooms of the hotel had, which I personally thought is a great add to the room, is the bathroom water spray. People from the Middle East specially would find this a very important feature to have in a hotel room.
Vera Sirghi, Guest Experience Executive, made this stay even more special. She contacted me even before check in and made sure we had the best room in the hotel. She topped it with a lovely room decoration and delicious cake to make our celebration even more special.
For the check out we met with Izabela Eremia, Guest Experience Executive, whom was very thoughtful and helpful providing us with all the means needed so we can have a great checkout experience.
Can’t wait to be back in London and to stay here once again!!

A very nice hotel with only a couple minor niggles. First of all the staff were amazing, every person we dealt with was polite and helpful. Vera especially was fantastic, cant speak more highly about her. Greated us on arrival and gave us a tour of the room. We had been speaking prior to the booking as it was my partners birthday and they decorated the room, bottle of prosecco with fruit and a cake that said happy birthday. Nice towel arrangement on the bed with a hand written card and balloons. We were also given a free upgrade to their WOW suite which was huge. Breakfast was tasty, all food was fresh and it was available until late morning. Now onto the niggles, if you have a room that faces the road, it is quite noisy due to the old fashioned wooden windows, also the curtains are not wide enough to cover the windows fully. There was an LED strip in the cupboard which wouldnt turn off even with the cupboard door shut so we had to remove the door key. Finally the hotel and rooms just need a bit of love and money spent on them. The lights on the front desk were hanging down slightly, the lifts were slow and needed renovation, rooms overall were good especially the bathrooms, but again some things need to be replaced/upgraded. I am being really nit picky here and most things people wouldnt even notice. Overall the niggles didnt affect our stay, I would highly recommend and visit again.

For a 5 star hotel this delivered on every element. We were wary of venturing back into London but the hotel and team were able to deliver on the new restrictions and gave good value for money, cleanliness and Customer Service whilst being in the ideal location for visiting tourist sites. We had a rare babysitting night off and this was a spontaneous trip which the Montcalm helped attribute to a fantastic night away! We plan to revisit again soon.

I’ve stayed here before for business and a special occasion and everything was faultless so I wanted to do the same this year for my birthday. The last time I booked online, a guest relations lady contacted me prior to my stay and the hotel was very proactive. This time nothing happened and there was no contact. I waited, then emailed the hotel 10 days prior to my visit (using email address per hotel website) but didn’t hear back. 5 days later, I emailed again. Still no response, so after another 3 days I rang the hotel and spoke to them. They acknowledged my request and gave me a different email address to the ones shown on the hotel website.

I arrived at the hotel and the receptionist asked, “Is this your first time staying with us?” So clearly there was no record of my previous stays, recent enquiries or purpose of my visit. The guest relations lady came out, shook my hand and wished me a happy birthday which was nice, but when the reception lady took me to show me my room, she asked me what the purpose of my visit was and if it was a special occasion. It was just annoying to repeat again why I was there.

I was upgraded to a lovely room and just wanted to relax, but 10 minutes later the doorbell rang with someone offering fruit. I said, “no thanks I’ve just checked in and I have a fruit basket”. 15 minutes later, the doorbell goes again. There was a man bearing fizz and a small cake. Very grateful for this but reminded them I don’t drink alcohol. So he went away and returned with a bottle of chilled elderflower *cordial* in an ice bucket (as opposed to a sparkling elderflower drink). A bit strange. Then after another hour, the front desk rang to see if everything was ok with the room. Eventually I could relax!

The room was well equipped but dusty in parts (glass bedside table) and bathroom floor. The sofa had food crumbs under the seats.

There was also some confusion as to whether I had access to the club lounge and breakfast. That needed another phone call to front desk and guest relations to confirm that I did.

All in all, I had a really nice time. However it could’ve been considerably better if there was improved communication between guest relations and customer records on the front desk. Just saying ‘nice to see you again’ or ‘happy birthday’ when I checked in and making it clear whether I had breakfast included during the initial check-in process would’ve been appreciated. I’d have thought customer records would have been noted, seeing as this is a 5 star hotel, and it would have made everything a bit more welcoming and seamless.

Hotel is located in a very nice area near Oxford st , Edjward road and heydpark.
Staff are too much sweet, nice and helpful. The room was cleaned and well organized and has tea n coffee facilities.
The bathroom was clean with water spry hose which is very suitable for certain party of people. We did not try breakfast due to price was expensive .you could try PAUL few steps away from the hotel.

After being on work deployment within London twice within 6 months on short notice, the Mont Calm is always the ideal stay. After first staying in the hotel over 10 years ago now, the customer service which I remember being so good at that time was just as good in 2021. In fact, after booking with them direct, on the initial mid summer stay in 2021, Hannah at the front desk was unbelievably accommodating to help me secure a Junior Suite. This happened again on my recent stay in September with the help of Vera! I cannot express enough how helpful and accommodating both staff members have been. It is obvious the standard of training provided to the staff is off a high standard or that they employ well.

It is difficult to find negative feedback due to the level of service provided and it is clear that the hotel chain prides itself on service. This ranges from the front desk to the room service staff. I ordered food from the Hankies restaurant within the restaurant which was excellent. The continental breakfast was very good as well and I look forward to using the wellness centre on my upcoming visit.

The cleaning standards and maintenance of the rooms is always so good with the friendliest cleaning staff. The showers in particular are probably the best I’ve used within a hotel, steaming hot and the junior suite itself has a hot tub which made up for the wellness centre being closed. The wellness centre being closed was the only downside but I believe this is due to the pandemic and/or renovations. Nevertheless, as mentioned, the standard of bathroom facilities in the junior suite made up for this.

The hotel has a boutique vibe which is aesthetically pleasing. In particular, the lounge around the front desk gives a genuine luxury feel. Too many hotels are branded as ‘luxury’ hotels but few actually live up to that name, the mont calm is an exception. Reliable and safe, hence why I have booked with them often.

The hotel is a short walk to Marble Arch tube station and is therefore smack bang in central. This would accommodate tourists well but also anyone on business in central London. There are countless places to eat on the surrounding area and Edgware road is a short walk away. The hotel itself is located off the main roads meaning the noise levels at night are minimal.

There aren’t enough good things to say about the team. You get that wonderful, traditional service with a door man and the front desk team couldn’t be kinder and more attentive. Covid-19 wise, you feel very safe, they provide a complimentary pack on welcome including face masks, gels and wipes. Your temperature is checked on entry.

Considering the climate for the leisure industry, the team made us feel very special, the doorman, Izabella with an extra special mention for Sarin/Zarin for his kindness and attentiveness.

I cannot compliment the MontCalm hotel, Vera and her team enough! When Vera found out we were visiting for my mother’s special birthday she arranged a beautiful room, breakfast, and lots of trimmings to make her feel very very special. The hotel is in a fantastic spot and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. We had some issues with travel which meant we were arriving into London a day early and Vera kept in contact and let us know there was a room for us so that made what could have been a bad start to our trip into a fantastic start with an extra night in this gorgeous hotel. If you are looking for something special in a great location with a team that will ensure you have a fantastic stay then I totally recommend you try to book in here. We will certainly be back!

First of all, I’d like to note that the hotel took all measures to keep guests and staff safe during the pandemic. We were offered a bag at check in that contained masks, sanitizer, etc.
I’d like to also point out Daniela at check in, she was very pleasant with us and accommodated our needs. She upgraded our room to a wonderful suite since we were on our honeymoon, that made our stay extra special!
This was such a great experience and we have decided we will be staying here whenever we are back in London! Highly recommended! The location is also perfect! 1 minute walk to the Marble Arch and Hyde park and 3 minutes away from shopping at Oxford st, amazing!

Not sure but suggest you email the hotel and ask really nicely for concessions for the children in a family room, free breakfast for children 10 and under - ask what little extras they might kindly give to make it special - balloons maybe? Have a safe journey. Welcome to London.
