This is a nice hotel located close to the Bayswater underground station. There are shops, many restaurants, and a grocery store one block away. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I would stay here again.

Staff were great and really friendly throughout our stay, Hotel was really great value for the price, really nice rooms and reception area. Loved that there was both gluten free toast and cereals available that was absolutely fantastic for my mum. Really handy for Bayswater and Queensway tube stations do really easy to get around. Great pub just down the road....

In a city where good customer service can be hard to come by, Phoenix Hotel stood out. When I booked, I chose a rate that was advertised as non-refundable, non-transferable, non-modifiable, etc. So of course an unavoidable emergency arose two days before I was due to travel! I contacted Phoenix and explained the situation. Even though they were not under...

Lovely little hotel, in a relatively quiet location. Got a mid-week deal, one night for £68, double room. Hotel decor good. Was surprised by how many people at breakfast, as we were not disturbed by noisy guests at night & hadn't realised hotel was so full. Reception Staff helpful. Plenty of choice on buffet breakfast. We used luggage store so...

The hotel is nicely situated on a side street of a very busy street very close to the centre of London. Restaurants like Burger King, Pizza Hut and so on are around the corner. I had a very, very small room at the front side of the hotel, facing the street, and I cannot say that it was really quiet....

Fantastic stay. Two triple rooms worked really well for us with the kids able to fight over who used the "upstairs" bed. Breakfast was really good, all of us filled up on boiled eggs and toast (a team favourite). We were able to leave bags all day to make most of the full day in London. And to cap it...

I'm really pleased of the overall service of the hotel. The staff has been very helpful in giving clear and precise directions on the places I want to go. Also, has provided very good recommendations on restaurant, too! Definitely will recommend this hotel to my family and friends! Keep up the great work!

I stayed for a single night as the adjacent property (Kensington Gardens Hotel) didn't have the additional night needed for my trip. The highlight - the bathtub. OMG, that bath was the best and most badly needed one of my trip. The room was comfortable, clean, and the breakfast perfect. I'd stay again.

I was looking for a good value hotel with breakfast included and an ensuit bathroom. This hotel met my expectations & it is a very good 3 star hotel! Single room wasn't tiny, good enough. Bathroom was clean and I had a good night sleep too. WIFI coverage was good everywhere. I can only recommended it!

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
