this is a really good hotel and very resonably priced. We booked the same evening we stayed and the room was £50. The thing that made the whole experience 5 star was the exceptional customer service. The receptionist Aoue (I think this was her name!) was so attentive and helped in any way she could. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely superb. The rooms were clean, comfortable and nicely decorated, the location is 3 minutes walk to Bayswater tube station and 2 minutes walk to a shop should the need arise. However the defining factor here were the staff; they simply could not have done anything more to make our stay more pleasant. We were cheeky and asked to check in slightly early as our train got us in earlier and they were happy to accommodate. Such incredible customer service, we will definitely stay here again.

I checked in here on the 15th and staying till 30th room number 122. The lift gets broke every couple of days and a pathetic service. The breakfast is decent, but the room, quality of service is pathetic. I wouldn't recommend staying here. The hotel helps the imposter.

Good afternoon, Many thanks for your review of the Phoenix Hotel London. Your feedback is much appreciated. We are taking this opportunity to upgrade our lift. We are performing periodic repairs on our lift but have ensured that any upgrades are performed during the afternoon for a limited time so as to minimise disruption to our guests. Please do speak to our reception if you require any assistance with luggage or using the stairs if our lift is temporarily out of service. We are glad that you found our a la carte breakfast to be acceptable. Kind regards. Phoenix Hotel London

I stayed here for 3 nights between march 6 to march 9 in room 121 and it was simply incredible. The staff was nice and friendly. My room was ready when I came to the hotel. It was a very nice looking room with good pillows and a good blanket. There was enough room for just me. It was an ordinary continental breakfast but many people just took the food with their hands. Maybe the staff in the restaurant could make sure that people used the equipment or at least used some hand sanitizer beforehand. Other than that the hotel and room was very good. I had a room towards the street and there wasn't a lot of noise. The bathroom was good and the water was hot. It's easy to get to the city. I tried to take the bus more than the underground and it was quite easy. With the underground nearby it was easy to get from Piccadilly Circus to the hotel. I had an amazing trip at an incredible hotel. I'm already planning my next trip to London and I will stay at this hotel again and hopefully in room 121 again. Hopefully it can be arranged!
