We stayed at The Park City Grand Plaza for 2 nights whilst our son auditioned for Drama school. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the Tube at Gloucester Rd. The reception area is well presented and the reception staff were courteous & helpful. We enjoyed the bar on both nights for a night cap.....the bar man was very friendly...

We booked a two night stay via Hotels.com. 5 mins before check in we had a call that my mother had been admitted to hospital in Liverpool with heart failure and was critically ill. The staff were very sympathetic and we explained we would not check in but travelled directly to the hospital. Hotels.com were great and agreed to refund...

Very nice area to live in, but too boring for my taste as a vacation spot. The breakfast/bar downstairs is a favorite place for arabs to smoke waterpipes all night, wich might seem a bit strange as it says its a Indonesian resturant.

This hotel is really charming! I really liked the neighborhood, but you should consider that it is not near the main attractions. For me, it wasn't a problem because it was easy to move throughout the city by public transportation. The staff is very friendly and helpful! The breakfast is great! Reccomend it !!!

Stayed here for an overnight stay in the middle of December. Location of hotel was perfect, central but away from the hustle and bustle. I was really appreciative of the quietness of the surroundings. The front of house staff were lovely, all my request were met and they made sure I was comfortable and happy with the room. For the...

First time trip to LONDON ! Almost hate to give out this great spot! Perfect for singles who want something quiet with a good location- District Line provides easy access from Heathrow and the rest of the City! The tube is about 3 blocks maybe a tad more- 15 minute walk to a residential area. Earls Court tube is a...

Very spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. The staff were friendly. Though the hotel is situated about a 10 min walk from the tube station, it's also within walking distance of the Natural History Museum and shops and supermarkets. Breakfast was quite good though, so no need to eat out in the morning. I would definitely return here!

We only had two nights in London—one on the front end of our trip and one in the middle. As soon as we arrived, desk personnel were helpful and gracious. Our room was quite big and exceptionally clean. After a sound sleep and their buffet breakfast (not included, but definitely worth it), we felt refreshed and energized for our next...

I stayed for four days early December. My room was executive at the upper floor. Great room very convenient and a really comfortable and big king size bed. This is a boutique hotel, if you like the big ones choose somewhere else. The great thing with this hotel is its location: Very central area but at the same time far...

I stayed at the hotel for a leisurely break at the end of November. It is the second time I have stayed at the hotel and it didn't disappoint. The rooms are lovely, comfy and clean and there is everything you need including extras toiletries, tea and coffee, iron, hairdryer etc. The rooms now have a smart phone to use...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
