The Caesar is one of the best lodging options in London. Located in a typical and recently remodelled Victorian building, its peaceful setting in a residential area and proximity to Paddington station and Hyde Park make it the perfect hotel for both leisure and business stays. It also has a charming restaurant and a bar where you can discover a bit about Spanish cuisine.

Detailed Reviews
Very nice hotel with convenient location, about 10 min walk from the Paddington train station, plenty of restaurants nearby, yet the hotel is at a relatively quiet residential street. The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful, taking care of my mixed business and personal reservations, and filling up my water bottle with ice everyday. The rooms are comfortable and modern though a bit on the small side, but it's fine for a single person. The only minor issue I had was the sound proof is not too great. I can hear people talking at very normal voice next to my room at night. Other than that, it's a very nice stay.

The hotel is located in a very nice and quite neighbourhood but 5' minutes walk from Paddington station and Central and Circle line which is very helpful for traveling fast to all the attractions in London. It has been renovated so the rooms are nice, clean and modern. The reception staff and the service staff are all very polite, professional and efficient. The breakfast is very good with a lot of choices from the buffet but also from the al carte breakfast which is also included in the price. Great stay and highly recommended.

We have stayed at the Caesar once or twice annually for several years. We like the location, being near Tube stations in both Bayswater and Paddington. They have been renovating the hotel in the recent past, and we stayed in a "new" Junior Suite. The bathroom was great--with lots of counter space and a great shower. The wifi is excellent and it is always very quiet. We liked the renovation done in our room and the dining room. The room itself could have used a few more "surfaces" to put things on. Maybe some hooks in the bathroom or room itself to hang jackets, purses, etc. Overall, the service is always excellent in this hotel and we highly recommend it.

Glad I had the room I did space and layout wise but will need to keep a few things in mind; take an extension cord as there are no plugs by or near the bed. Take earbuds for night as you can hear your neighbour snore.
Wear a hairstyle that doesn't require the hairdryer as the cord is very short and restricting. No iron is provided.
Language barriers are common leading to misunderstandings. You will need to be mentally prepared for issues to occur.
Speak to the welcome desk on arrive in hopes they will have someone double check the room after cleaning as amenities were not topped up and bowls and dirty glasses where left.
WIFI only works in certain spots of the room.
The reasons I would go back is the location, the welcome desk is friendly even after having to deal with the issues and that particular room layout seems to work for me.

Dear Guest, Thank you so much for taking the time to share your review. We regret that some aspects of your stay did not meet the standards you expected. We understand that the availability of plug sockets in convenient locations is important and we will be considering ways to improve this aspect of our room facilities. Moreover, we recognise the importance of a good night's sleep and are sorry to hear that noise was an issue; earplugs can be provided upon request for a more restful experience. We also apologise for any inconvenience caused by the short cord on the hairdryer and would like to point out that irons and ironing boards are available upon request from the reception. Additionally, we are sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with language barriers and WIFI connectivity. Our team is comprised of multilingual staff, and we are committed to clear communication with our guests. We also offer a highly reliable 100 MG dedicated WIFI service and will look into any connectivity issues that may have occurred in your room. Lastly, while we are committed to ensuring that our rooms are well-maintained and amenities are replenished regularly, it appears that we fell short during your stay. We will follow up on this with our team. Nonetheless, we are pleased that you found the room layout to your liking and that our central location was a highlight of your stay. It is also wonderful to hear that our front desk team provided a friendly service, despite the issues mentioned. We are dedicated to offering a warm welcome and a comfortable environment for our guests, and it's gratifying to know that these aspects positively impacted your experience. We hope that you will consider The Caesar for your future travels and allow us the opportunity to provide a stay that fully meets your expectations. Best regards, Santiago Torres, Operations Manager

We stayed two nights at the end of our vacation. The room we were put in was very small, the foot of the bed almost touching the desk and chair. Absolutely no privacy. You can hear everything from other rooms. Our room was on the first floor, down a very narrow hallway. While I waited for my mother at the lift, I could hear her down the hall in our room getting water from the bathroom sink. My other family members were also on the same floor and complained they too could hear people in their rooms, like urinating and passing gas. No privacy.
Also, not sure what’s happened in London since the last time I was there, but this neighborhood isn’t as safe as it looks. I would not suggest being a women walking after dark. It has a very Middle East feel to it. Stay safe.

Positive point: the entire staff is exceptional.
Negative: There is a wide variety of room types; when I closed by Booking, it wasn’t clear what type of room I was hiring.
The location of the hotel is very good, being close to two metro stations (Bayswater and Paddington) that give access to several lines (central, circle, district, elizabeth, etc.).

Here you find your temporary home in London. It is clean, modern, safe and you get a good service and peaceful sleep. The breakfest is expensive, but excellent. You can order by menu card or get different fresh fruit or serrano for example. The staff is friendly and helpful all the way. You can get to several tube stations or paddington train station or the hyde park in <10 minutes. My point of view for the ratings is high standard central europe. I woke up once every night, but I think this was for personal reason, not for some noise.

Reception does not know the area when looking for a restaurant nor can you provide information about the transfer to the airport. By the way, you can get from Padington Station to Heathrow in 20 minutes. Recommendation Reception 1h 30 min Taxi for 90 pounds 😉

We had a great time at the Caesar. We actually live in the area but were moving and had a couple of days in between moving into our new flat, so can say as a local that this area is one of the best :) The room was very comfortable, included robes / slippers, and the sauna was fantastic. The front reception staff were great and extremely helpful, especially Ketty who was so kind and helpful in moving our rooms as we needed an additional night.

Website photos are deceptive, beautiful pictures but old tatty rooms in reality, Travelodge a better option! First roomTV didn’t work, phone to call reception didn’t work, moved to another room, still as old and tired. Don’t book… go to a premier inn … good value, and you know what you are getting. Oh and lift was broken and you had to use the staff one… only positive… close to Hyde park… that’s it, nothing else!
