Neighbourhood
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.

The hotel location is one of the best in London, being very close to the Hyde Park, Oxford Street and everything in Marylebone. However its condition is quite poor I'm afraid. The furniture is ancient, everything inside is very worn. I stayed in a 3 bedded room (did not ask for it). The beds were comfortable and clean but the bathroom door for example did not close, the shower is fixed and cannot be adjusted, water was quite slow, the floor in the bathroom was kind of sloped quite markedly. After I opened the wardrobe door I could not close it (because the hinges were loose and the door angle needed to be adjusted to fit in before it is closed). It just isn't the type of a hotel that you would enjoy in any way, but perhaps it's good for really short business trips where you only want a place to sleep after a long day in London

My daughter had to leave as she could not breath due to damp ! My son got bitten ! Hotel.com tried to get refund but the hotel refused even though only spent maximum an hour but that was only due to waiting for hotel.com s response ! These are pictures of the room ! My daughter has more pictures of the lift ! I am reporting the hotel for health and safety! Disgusting ! I wouldn’t even give them 1star !

The hotel is old and decrepit. I booked through Booking.com, and saw several reviews raving about the hotel, big mistake! I wasn’t aware booking.com picks the reviews and removes the negative ones. The male receptionist couldn’t explain the map well. The carpets were old and stained. The bathroom shower head had to be adjusted to get a satisfactory flow of water. It was like staying at a third world hotel! The ceiling fan felt as if it was going to fall any day. My daughter was afraid that each day with legs would be her last. The furnitures were samples from a haunted house, all rickety and old. I can’t imagine why it would charge such a steep rate for non-existent amenities. No, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all!

Are you thinking about satying here!? Well, stop thinking and find somewhere else to stay! A tent in the park would be a better option. The room looked like it was'nt cleaned in at leats two years. Mold and stains everywhere. Is it urine or coffee on the carpet, no one knows, but I have a good guess. The beds felt like they where from the 11th century, again a tent with a decent mat would be a petter place. So my advice - find another place, do not be tempted by the low prices. London has better hostels for an even lover price.

This is a very quaint little unassuming front. You walk in and it's not anything that I was expecting. Nothing like American hotels. Pleasantly surprised. All of the staff that we met during our stay were pleasant and very accommodating. They served a very wonderful complimentary breakfast every morning but also had a menu you could order off of. Walking distance to a tube station and bus station. I hope to stay again.

Hi is there lifts in the hotel ?
Theree is a very small lift in the hotel, barely big enough for one person and a suitcase! I also felt that it was unsafe as it was very old and didn't have any safety features to stop you from opening the outer door before the lift arrived!

Que algún día lo cierren para refaccionar lo y no abusar de los huéspedes. Hoy es una vergüenza!
