I am sure that the hotel as a whole is wonderful, but if you end up in room 7, ask for a switch. This is a tiny room, squeezed at the end of a corridor, right by the corridor entrance, so you hear nothing but the door slamming. Situated at the entrance-end of a corridor too, far from other rooms,...

Staff formidably hospitable, clean rooms and free wifi in hotel lobby and rooms, great location as hotel is near several cultural venues. Especially friendly service at the restaurant and excellent breakfast buffet.

Good location for museums and Hyde Park. Room was nice and clean but only had one outlet in a not super convenient place. But service was great! Reception was super friendly and helpful, and even helped me carry my heavy luggage to the nearby tube station. Thanks Bimal!

Just a short walk from Gloucester Road Tube Station. Arrived here at 11am but unfortunately our room wasn't ready for us to check in. We were able to leave our overnight bag with the concierge which was kept in a safe room while we went out to explore London. The Natural History Museum is about a 5 minute walk down...

For anybody interested in culture and museums a perfect location. The design is standard. A good price/value-relation. Subway-stations very close. Good for Heathrow & Gatwick. Great shopping facitlities.

Stayed one night on business in a standard single room. It's not an experience I will be looking to repeat - there are much better properties available in Central London at this price-point. I received absolutely zero recognition as a Club Carlson Gold member. No room upgrade, no welcome gift, not even a "thank you for being a Gold member"...

Outstanding staff at this hotel, such as Cecilia and Brian; friendly & helpful. From the moment I approached the hotel, the staff was there to help me with the stairs and checking in. The Business Centre is convenient, and I was able to print paper tickets to shows. Breakfast staff, such as Cecilia, was attentive and friendly. The breakfast was...

Don't know why I book these Radisson Blu hotels - I should learn. So got a biggish room with very high ceilings, lots of cushions, a long red couch that looked like a person of taste would recognise it as very stylish. But no desk really - just a corner of a dressing table to perch my computer on. No...

Stayed in a number of 4 and 5 star Hotels in London, but this is my new favourite. Felt much more like a boutique hotel than the normal big group hotels. The staff were excellent especially Niall. Food was great, location was excellent and our room and the hotel in general was lovely. Will be checking in again soon!

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
