We just had a couple of nights at Hotel du Vin Wimbledon for my wife's birthday and I have to say it was an exceptional stay. Having stayed at various Hotel du Vin in the past I thought we knew what to expect but the staff went out of their way to surpass our expectations and really made my wife's...

My husband and I have just returned from a four night stay at the Hotel du Vin Cannizaro House. We were delighted with all aspects of our visit, from the very spacious and comfortable room (especially the bed), to the professional, friendly and attentive staff. The hotel had a relaxed air about it, the staff were excellent but not intrusive, and...

I visited Hotel Du Vin Wimbledon for the first time last weekend (we normally go to Brighton). I booked lunch for my wife and two friends. We were greeted by the Food and Beverage Manger (Fabrizio), who showed us to our table and explained the lunch format and then the Sommelier (Micol) introduced himself. Micol had a great knowledge and...

Beautiful hotel in a lovely London location. It felt both relaxed and stylish. The service was amazing and the staff were very attentive. I felt both welcome and special. The food was great, and very tasty. The wine was very well received! I particularly enjoyed the wine waiters knowledge of the wines and his humour. It was nice to see...

Had a brilliant two night stay here for a family wedding. Food was excellent. More than what we normally pay for rooms but as it was a wedding decided to stay. Rooms clean and bright most with lovely views. It would be advisable if you don't use lifts to let them know when you book as I didn't and had...

Dear Belinda H, I'm glad you decided to stay with us for the wedding recently. The rooms and hotel have gone through a huge refurbishment and I was pleased to hear that this didn't go un-noticed. Thanks also for the heads up regarding the fire stairs. We do have a main guest staircse in the centre of the building but...

I booked this hotel for my Mothers 70th birthday and everything was amazing. The pre party information was bang on and nothing was too much trouble. The greeting as soon as we walked in was warm and efficient. The room newly decorated and was definitely of a 5 star quality. The service was 110% with all 20 dishes arriving at...

I went to Cannizaro House in Wimbledon which has recently been taken over by Hotel Du Vin. I met some friends there for lunch before playing 18 holes of golf on the neighbouring course, Wimbledon Common golf club. We then returned for dinner and then stayed overnight. From the moment we arrived the staff could not do any more to...

We have stayed at Cannizaro House often but this was our first visit since its rebranding as part of the Hotel du Vin chain. Not a place for one wanting to treat themselves to a get away or relaxing retreat. For the prices you pay, you would expect large clean rooms, perfect service and delicious food. Most things about this hotel are great. The personal treatment on arrival was superb. After check in, we were taken directly to our room. We know this doesn't happen in all HdeV's. The room itself was wonderful, overlooking the park. It was clean, had a separate shower and bath (we always like this), robes, and had a very comfortable bed....
