I had a 2 night stay in the Park Plaza Sherlock Holmes and really couldn't find any fault. The staff were great, the food was good, the rooms were nice and the location was fantastic for a weekend of wholesome fun.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We found this to be a great hotel. Great location 10 min walk from Marylebone Station, 3 min walk from Baker St Underground, loads of bars, cafes, restaurants locally if you don't want to go far. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff from the Concierges to Reception, Housekeeping, Staff at Breakfast (Mihara - I think, and the manager very accommodating). Nice...

Room, furniture, fittings and even the bath towels were dated. Room lighting was very very dark and you can't read or see things clearly at all at night. Floor lamp was even broken and light bulks were replaced by friendly staff (thanks Florin at concierge). Yousef, the front desk personnel was trying to help find a replacement room for us...

This was by far the BEST choice I could have made for our vacation of a lifetime to London. Everything here was absolutely perfect! I kept in touch with Guest Relations prior to our trip to make sure all would be fine when we arrived. It was more than fine. It was INCREDIBLE. I have never been treated so well...

Excellent stay. Staff very kind and helpful. Room fully accessible. Bed a good height for a disabled person. Very clean this was our second stay at this venue. Rather expensive for what was offered. Would stay again.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
