It is the same. Just renovated in 2018 and brought up to 5 star standard. A truly great hotel at a great location. They did an outstanding job renovating and upgrading the hotel.

Do the rooms have a fridge with a mini bar?
There was a fridge but no mini bar. The hotel provides a “tuckbox” with cookies, candy, etc - all free.

I walked everywhere. But I would just email the Principal. I had emailed them about the best transportation from the London City Airport and they got back to me right away.

Does the gym have a rower? Is there parking nearby?
There's a gym indeed, and quite well equipped. It is located in the lower ground with some natural light coming from high windows. Towels and water are freely available and the machines (cardio and weight lifting) are good. You have to register at reception, signed a form and get a card to open the gym's door.
