Stayed at this hotel on our last visit to London. Was in a good location next to Soho. Rooms was clean and roomy. Hotel was clean too... lady on the desk was a little abrupt on our arrival but apart from that everyone else was friendly and welcoming.

This is an economy hotel with basic rooms but for a short break to London it is ideal. Several theatres are within easy walking distance as are Covent Garden and Leicester Square underground stations. There are plenty of bars cafes and restaurants nearby. When I booked I asked for a twin room and was told they had sold out but...

Clean and really great location, walkable to theatres, restaurants and Covent Garden. Corridor outside of the room smelled strongly of stale smoke. Sleep was disturbed in the night with laughing and knocking in the corridor. Overall a clean, basic hotel in a good location. Price was ridiculous £170 for room only but I guess you are paying for the location

Great value in the heart of London. Basic but clean and had everything I needed. "Quiet" floor is amazing - no noisy drunkards coming back late and waking you up. Wish more hotels did this. The only down side were the steep steps outside.

Hotels in central London aren't cheap so we thought we were taking a chance when booking this one, but were pleasantly surprised. Everything was clean & fresh; the staff were friendly and helpful and we had a good night's rest. The room was small and I guess this is the compromise.

Check in was easy but the room was so basic. It was very dark and smelt damp. The bathroom was so tiny. Breakfast was ok but the scrambled egg looked as if it was made from powder. Only one coffee, tea machine working each day, so this caused a queue. Just spent as little time as possible in the hotel.

(Another was provided when I pointed it out) I ate out so cant comment in the food but the breakfast was fine and buffet style. Some.lovely eateries around, look out for the ore theatre xeals. Some good ones about, watch out...

Never stayed in central London travelodge before always gone for one just outside but visiting the theatre this time we wanted to be near. This travelodge is ideally placed for theatres, Covent garden, Leicester square and walking along the embankment (as long as you are fit). With restaurant and cafe onsite there is no need if you don't want to...

Check-in was easy but then had to walk to the next building on Holborn. The room was very basic although clean and tidy. The room seemed too big for the furniture it contained, oddly, which meant the TV was a long way from the bed so difficult to watch. The shower seemed to 'pump' rather than 'flow'. Although we were...
