Despite being just a short hop away from the West End of London, Signature Townhouse Hyde Park feels like it's a million miles from the intense whirl of nearby Marble Arch. Hidden away on a quiet loop that curves off from the main stretch of Lancaster Gate, the hotel provides its guests with a level of quiet seclusion rarely found in so accessible a location. Housed within a beautiful Victorian terrace, just a couple of minutes walk from the trees, lakes, and green spaces of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, Signature Townhouse Hyde Park offers a style of meticulous but unobtrusive service that matches the simple elegance of its architecture. The hotel has been designed for the comfort and convenience of its guests, with an emphasis on understated quality. There aren't many places in central London that can claim to be genuinely restful. The Royal Parks can make a good case; Signature Townhouse Hyde Park, which looks out over one of those parks, can too.

Nestled near Hyde Park, the Signature Townhouse Hyde Park hotel garners praise for its prime location and clean, comfortable accommodations. Guests appreciate the well-maintained rooms with comfy beds and daily housekeeping, alongside the complimentary refreshments that add value to their stay.
While the hotel's service is generally admired for being attentive, some visitors have encountered issues with room heating and staff responsiveness. Despite mixed reviews about room sizes and value, the convenience of nearby transportation and central attractions remains a highlight for many travelers.

Detailed Reviews
I liked the location, a 7 min walk to Lancaster Gate Station, where the central line goes directly to the heart of Oxford street in 15 minutes. The decor is peaceful and calming. The room size is great, most of hotels for the same price would have tiny rooms. The tea/coffee making facilities, water bottles and cookies were a sweet touch. The best thing about The Signature Townhouse was the staff is especially amazing, namely; Ciny, Alex, Andrei and Kashik.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
Location is perfect; in a very silent and elegant area, 1 min walk to Hydepark, 2 metro stops away from the Oxford Street.
Staff is very friendly and helpful, we had a slight problem with our air conditioning on our first night and they solved it with extra care the next day and even offered us a complimentary English Breakfast for the inconvenience.
We had an executive room which was very spacious and clean. Breakfast choices were nice and the personnel at the breakfast area was also very friendly.
Will definitely choose here again for our next visit.

We arrived for our first night of a two night stay, and we were given a room where the window was pushed up, meaning it was all the way open and could not be pulled down to be closed. I mentioned this immediately to reception and a member of staff came to look, and couldn’t fix it. He told me he would go downstairs and then let me know what is happening.
I must add, the room we were given in the first place was very dusty, and the mirrors were disgustingly unclean, something you would not expect considering the current climate…
After about 45 mins of waiting I had not heard anything, so rang reception. The gentleman on the phone huffed and puffed before reluctantly coming up, I can only presume this guy was the manager as he was wearing a different coloured suit to the other guy.
I was told I would be given a new room, and we had to repack all our stuff immediately to be moved.
When we went downstairs, we were made to wait whilst the man went and checked the room was ready. He came back and gave us a room key, we were waiting for the lift and thought this would be the end of it…
As we got into the lift he ran towards us to advise he has given us the wrong room, he had given us a room above the level that we had paid for. Personally, for the inconvenience, and considering this room was not in use. I do not see why we could not have been left with this room?
We were then made to wait AGAIN whilst another room was prepared for us.
When we eventually got into our room, there were marks on the walls, the bed, although comfy, was not made properly, mirrors were not cleaned and the TV did not work. The room was also very dusty, which is pretty poor.
Shocking customer service and all we received was a ‘sorry’. Nothing was done about the poor service we received and we were left to waste about two hours of our first of two nights messing about with rooms.
The hotel does not offer value for money, considering we paid just shy of £200 for two nights, there was not much to justify this price apart from the location.
Overall a poor stay, and I’m glad we did not spend much time in the room over the course of our two night stay.

Arriving at gone midnight the staff on reception were polite and got us checked in quickly. I asked if there was water in the rooms, the man on reception said he wasn’t sure so he gave us some bottled water to take to our room. We stayed in room 14. The room was small but was fine for our 1 night stay. The toilet and shower were spotlessly clean. Same can’t be said for the bed!! The bed sheets were slightly stained and there were a few black stray hairs that I had to peel off before getting in!! Pulling the curtains I noticed they were also covered in staines!! We weren’t impressed, but we were extremely tired after trekking around London for most of the day, plus it was only for 1 night! Had we been staying longer I would’ve complained. The bed was comfy and we managed to sleep well. The shower had good pressure but it seemed to only have 2 temperature settings which were hot or 3rd degree burn hot!! Managed to have a quick wash but it wasn’t the most pleasurable shower experience I’ve ever had!! My partner wanted to use the hair dryer but it didn’t work! Overall it wasn’t the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in and it’s a good location near to Hyde park and winter wonderland, but we won’t be making any future bookings to stay there again. £142.50 for one night stay, in a standard double room with no breakfast included was a bit steep but think we were paying for the location and not the hotel facilities.

Thank you to all the team of the Signature hotel for making possible such pleasant stay. Just few minutes walk from Hyde Park and metro station, hidden away in a quiet residential area, this hotel is a perfect place to relax after busy working or exploring the city days. Modern design reception area. Superior double room is quiet spacious! Very comfortable bed with good quality bedding. Daily cleaning service was perfect. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk. Due to COVID restrictions breakfast was served in the room, but it was abundant with a good variety. Tea, coffee & biscuits facility in the room. Adding to this list very good price, by London standards, making this hotel a great deal, if the area is convenient for you. It is located near Notting Hill area where you can find plenty of nice cafes and restaurants. Looking forward to come back soon.

Booked a last minute one-night stay and Signature Townhouse offered great location at a reasonable price.
Room was of a very good size and had everything needed for a comfortable stay.
I don't believe air conditioning was working and room felt a little stuffy when we arrived, however once windows were opened and we used the provided fan there was no problem.
Staff were very friendly and helpful - I forgot to bring charger and they provided me with a spare one during out stay.
There was no mini bar in the room however complimentary bottles of water were provided and we were kindly provided with extra water at no charge in the morning when we asked for more.
Would definitely stay again if I'm in London.

I usually don't write reviews but this time I have to and it is a bit longer.
Booked the hotel for a long weekend with my daughter, flying over from Germany, partly as a 16th birthday gift and also as a reward for keeping up good grades and being a good student. I wanted to make it extra special and send an Email in advance, explaining the trips purpose and asking for a room with a view (one in particular as my daughter had seen it on the website and loved the interior). Didn't get an answer and was a bit bummed, but decided to ask in person upon arrival.
Got there on the day of travel really really late around 10 pm after an awfully delayed evening flight and missing connection from the airport. We were given a nice but tiny room, with a view out the back onto brick walls and dumpsters, but I was just too tired to complain.
Fast forward to the next morning I went downstairs and asked the receptionist Feli, who is an absolute angel, about my email and maybe a change of rooms. She apologized because my email had gotten lost in the SPAM Folder and said she would give us a different room. I asked about the specific room but was told that unfortunately it is one of the Executive Suites. I told her no problem, any room with a view out front would be great. She assured me that we could leave our luggage at the old room and when we get back after 2 pm housekeeping would have relocated it to the new room and we would get a new roomkey.
So we went out and about in London that day and came back tired after 9 pm only to find that she had given us a complimentary upgrade to THAT specific Excecutive Suite as is was available for the next days and they had decorated the bed with rose petals and Happy Birthday Girl balloons!! My daughter was over the moon, dancing around the room singing. It was so wonderful! I can not thank Feli and the rest of the staff enough for making that trip unforgettable.
As for the overall experience, the Hotel is very conveniently located next to Hyde Park, Paddington Station and Lancaster Gate tube Station. Right around the corner is The Swan, a nice little pub with excellent food. The Hotel itself is cute, bathrooms are nice and renovated, the rooms are a bit dated with a few spots of chipped paint/decor on walls and doors, but we didn't mind. There is hot chocolate, tea and coffee in the room and small packs of oat biscuits, which we took with us as snacks on our walks through the city. We skipped the breakfast and ate somwehere else as there are a lot of small cafes in the area towards Paddington Station.
We will definitely come back to stay at the Signature Townhouse Hotel.

This hotel is in a central location in Bayswater. It is very good value for money. There are no frills, but the bed was very comfortable, the shower was powerful and the room was very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Money has been spent in all the right places to offer a good room at a very reasonable price.

Came here with my wife for a getaway weekend in London. The room was very servicable, and worked well for us as a "base of operations". The hotel is located only a short walk from the Lancaster Gate underground station, and also quite close to Queensgate and Bayswater stations, so you have good access to a lot of central London from this location. It is also a very short walk from Hyde Park itself.
The room itself was good for a nights sleep, though the front door to the room was not soundproofed by any means, to the point that I woke once in the night thinking that people were coming into the room, when in fact they were going into the room across the hall. That said, we didn't really hear anything else.
Front staff were really friendly and helpful. They did take a security deposit from us upon checking in, which was a little unexpected, but was refunded in full once we had checked out.
I would recommend tempering your expectations if you want a "room with a view". The hotel itself is not overlooking Hyde Park or anything like that. Rather, it is in a nice area, but from our room you could just see other houses and hotels.
Decor was also a bit worn in the room. The carpet was clearly quite sunbleached, and the bathroom, while clean, needs a good scrub to clean limescale off the shower. That tarnished the appearance of the room quite a bit, but it was otherwise good enough.
One thing to mention is that for the price we paid in central London with their "Flexible Rate", it was a great place to stay. If I were to pay the standard rate fee (at the time of writing), I'd have been much more disappointed.

I think you can leave bags.
I should also report that the hotel did respond to my issues and I believe have undertaken decoration of some of the rooms that needed upgrading. They also kindly offered a rebate on my bill. Very thoughtful.Thank you!
I don’t think so. Though the hotel might have an arrangement. Check with them.
I am from middle east , and I usually use google map for reviewing anyplace, and i got surprised that here in UK the people use more trip advisor, and to be honest the hotel was really good , and it is unfair to not give them a good review through this application.
I stayed there with my family. It is not a hotel. It is a B and B. Rooms with s breakfast room and reception. Not great.
