We had 2 rooms for our family of 4 - not too close together, rooms 301 and 315, but it was OK. Bed was HEAVENLY. Shower was a bit out in the open as small glass door did not stop water from drenching the floor, but enough towels to dry it up. I dropped my earrings down the sink drain...

Stayed in a single room and could not have been better: very nice décor, very comfy bed and with everything you needed in the room. Staff was really friendly and efficient & breakfast was delicious. I will definately stay here again.

The problem that arose was that deluxe rooms are only on certain parts of the hotel and after a renovation this is not clear on the website Having stayed in the hotel...

We were in London for our first concert at the Royal Albert Hall, The Bailey's is ideally located for this, and the Kensington area. Our Deluxe room was very nice, spacious and well furnished. The hotel is traditional and well maintained, with lovely staff (in the main). The bar is good; we enjoyed a few lunch time beers there, but...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
