The Hotel is bijou but beautifully appointed, the staff are very accommodating and helpful. The bedroom was 'cosy' but delightful and the bed gave a very satisfying sleep thank you very much. Breakfast was a very comprehensive continental breakfast, with delicious coffee. The hotel was very wll placed for our needs, being within walking distance from the Royal Albert Hall,...

This is a small hotel with few amenities a two minute walk from Earls' Court tube station (which has direct tube access from Heathrow airport, get and use the Oyster card!). The small room scale is somewhat of a shock, especially for USA visitors, but once you acclimate it is a nice change of pace, and worth the quite location...

I had just the 1 night here in a single room but it was good. A small but very modern room with all the mod cons and a brand new bathroom. Very friendly staff on reception and a tasty breakfast in the morning. Bed was a bit short for my liking but I'm quite tall. I would return

stayed here recently, in a double room in the basement. the room itself was spacious, especially for London standards. the bathroom could use a bit of an upgrade, a shower curtain is something I do not expect in this day and age. staff was friendly, and when we arrived a couple of hours before check-in, we could leave our luggage....

We visited for 3 nights and were really happy with the area and how close it was to the tube to get around London. Great price for a room and a friendly welcome. I expected the room to be really small from other reviews but it was big enough for us for the amount of time we spent in it....

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel and enjoyed it. Our room was of good size and was clean. We did notice that our maid did not change out the trash can one day and did not wash the cups in the room. Other than that, we liked it a lot! Bathroom was very modern and shower worked great. Huge...

Our room was petit but charming and really all we needed as a single couple for a three day stay. The amenities were wonderful and location was great, right by a metro station and a quiet neighborhood. The breakfast was not up to par to the rest of the establishment, it seemed as if they just threw a card table...

Since my flight got cancelled I had to find a reasonable stay with a good connection to Heathrow airport. The Henley house is cute, even though the rooms are small they are quite stylish and for one night a perfect stay for a modest price. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

If a hotel should be rated based on the quality of a night's sleep then I would have to give this hotel one star but I feel that is a bit unfair. I was pretty excited to be staying at this hotel having seen the website and the various pieces of neat technology in the rooms but it was the...

As I was in London for a very limited stay, I wanted an easily accessible hotel in a safe neighborhood. The hotel is just a very short walk from the Earl's Court tube station. The staff was very friendly and helpful, offering suggestions on getting around, and sights to see that were nearby. I walked from the V & A...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
