We had kedgeree, fish and chips, panna cotta and waffle. Can recommend all those dishes. The free flowing bubbles were just that, and lovely. The staff brought out a birthday dessert for the birthday girl in our party which was a much appreciated touch. Thank you Gonsalo, Aysha and Raja for looking after us all so well.

Not a great start - had booked two rooms; the placed one on the 5. floor, the other on the 8. 🤦♂️ The reception charged euro 250 to my card, claiming this should cover minibar (which was complementary) and other non-specified stuff; hope to see the amount returned to my bank account very soon! Breakfast is good, but the room was chilly - and the prices are in a range, where heating should be possible... Hotel is old and dated, and it seems like maintenance/minor repairs are having a hard time keeping up with the actual wear and tear :-( Best thing was the central location!

Excellent hotel until getting home and finding iv been charged for items I'd paid for on booking. Not happy a wonderful stay has been ruined by having to chase a refund up. Receptionist was told this on booking out and said all was OK but then went and charged my card against my consent!

NOT a 5* experience... The room is OK, quite spacious, but we had an (unrequested) fold out bed in ours which took up a lot of room. The cabinet surfaces in the room were very scuffed and watermarked. Fridge was noisy - very noticeable at night. Breakfast was poor - self-service buffet style with limited choices. 2 DIY 4-slot toasters, of which only 2 slots worked properly, meaning long queues. We asked for hot chocolate one evening when we returned from the theatre, only to be told they don't do hot chocolate - or as it turned out any other hot drink, unless you are in the restaurant or you make it yourself in your room. We requested coffee pods for the in-room machine, but none arrived. The room rate was extremely expensive and we were expecting a luxury experience - sadly our expectations were unfulfilled. …

My partner and I had a marvellous lunch at The Royal Horseguards Hotel restaurant. The room was very nice and the seating was very comfortable. The food was delicious. We enjoyed our starters of leek and potato veloute and the beetroot burrata, which was beautifully presented. We both had the same main course of chicken supreme which was very tasty. We also shared a British cheese plate for dessert. That was very well presented and lovely to eat too. Our wine glasses of pinot rosato and Shiraz Percheron were really good as well. Our waitress Aysha was so friendly and helpful and professional. She also showed me the outside garden and patio, which was very impressive. Altogether a great lunch.

Spacious, quiet, and well-equipped rooms with very comfortable beds. Fantastic location near multiple public transportation option and walking distance to many popular locations. Attentive and welcoming staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

Excellent location. The food was great the service from Olena was fantastic. The hotel was very accommodating with our time of arrival, as we also had a theatre booking. All in all I fully recommend this venue.

I took my friend for afternoon tea, as a birthday present. The tea was excellent. Plentiful, with a really good selection. Beautifully served. And perfectly fresh. We had a Christmas themed tea, with Prosecco. Our waiter Tanya, was lovely. Professional, yet warm and friendly. Elegant and comfortable surroundings as well. Couldn't fault anything
