We stayed in the Amba Hotel Charing Cross (on The Strand street in London) for a full week this second week of April. There were no cons. Here are the pros:

Not perfect (is anywhere?), but a great place to stay in London. First the minor minuses: (i) hotel layout is a bit wonky—from reception area have to take a lift or long stairway up a floor, then walk through a covered bridgeway that crosses Villiers...More

It does two elevators in main building. There is a annex which involves a bit of a trek on a floor w a slight break in slope but no steps. You will find staff very willing too help if needed. It can be a dark Hotel at night when parts of it are in candle light, romantic atmospheric but difficult if partially sighted. We had a twin room 405 the bathroom was easy to manoeuvre. Enjoy your stay

Hi, I think that will be fine, since you pay for the room! However, make sure you book a double bed/king bed! If you have breakfast included they could ask for an extra charge! Have an amazing stay!
