I stayed here on a three day business trip. The hotel is very large; breakfast was a mob scene both days but was handled very efficiently in that I did not wait long for a table. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable but quite chilly so I was happy for the portable radiator near my bed. Close to...

We were going to see a play in London, this hotel is in a perfect position for the west end. Covent Garden is a short walk away. The cost was reasonable for London. We didn't have breakfast included but there are lots of places nearby to get food both for breakfast and dinner. The room we had was small but...

This was our 3rd stay here. Great facilities & location. Staff are always pleasant & very professional. Breakfast is lovely with lots of selection. We had an executive room & it was so worth the upgrade. It was our 5th wedding anniversary & the card from the hotel & chocolates were a lovely touch. We will be back as we...

We had a one night stay while visiting London for a theatre and dinner birthday weekend. Basic room, but a reasonable price, clean and quiet, and a perfect location. We were allowed to check in to our room early, and a 12pm check out which was nice. Well recommended.

Despite recent refurbishment this hotel , although ideally located for central London , remains an average place to stay and the tariff is somewhat high . Checking is was busy , the lifts also very busy . My room , although obviously redecorated , lacked any sort of character . Breakfast came as an extra. Staff were pleasant but in...

We stayed in a double room at The Strand Palace hotel and it was very comfortable. Check in and out were fast, staff were friendly and polite and the hotel is in good proximity to bars, restaurants and shopping. I would stay again.

The hotel is right on the Strand, great for so many London locations, and Covent Garden is just round the corner with all the cafes and bars. There's a very handy Tesco Metro opposite too. The room was fine, modern decor and a big bed and everything works fine. My only criticisms are the corridors are a bit scruffy, and...

A delicious afternoon tea in the Bar Lounge. Very good service, nice atmosphere. The selection of sandwiches, cakes & scones filled us up entirely, and we got 4 cups of tea each from the pot! Would definitely go again, but would try the gin bar next time!

We stayed here just for one night after staying at another hotel nearby (the Conrad) for 4 nights. There's a big difference in price between the two properties so I couldn't compare them apples to apples. While the ambience is much better at the pricier Conrad, the service at the Strand Palace is really very good and the hotel is...

This is one of our favourite hotels, lovely place and so close to Covent Gardens, Soho, Leicester Square and Trafalgar Square. The rooms are very nice and a lovely breakfast. 3 min walk to Charing Cross Station.
