Well where do i start? We wasnt informed on the building work going on within the hotel so that was a loud disruption straight away. The hotel room, well may aswell have called me Harry Potter it was like being in a cupboard under the stairs!!! My bedroom is bigger at home! Me and my friend asked for more towels...

Stayed here for one night whilst attending a course. Chose the hotel due to it's location to the course venue. It turned out to be an excellent choice from start to finish. Check in staff were very helpful and apologetic for the temporary reception due to refurbishments going on. Bedroom was perfect, plenty of room for one. Breakfast was good...

Stayed here for a night with my daughter. We had a room on the third floor. If you are given the choice I would opt for a room in the higher floor purely for the views of London . The hotel was quiet and there was little street noise. The room had everything you need. Will definitely be staying again.

Far from something you could call clean, very unpleasant experience. Small room, dirty, very old fashion, small, dark shower. Currently the entrance area is under construction. Breakfast below average.

This hotel is central to the main attractions of London. If you are into walking you will have no problem for Oxford St, Buckingham Palace, Bond st all museums and theatres. The rooms are adequate and the breakfasts are eat as much as you like. all self service, but good for visiting or work.

Sweetest staff ever! Even though we stayed at the hotel in the middle of there big renovation. We would definitely return. Our room was really small but we didn't mind. The only bummer was the small closet. It was filled up with a broken fold chair and other unnecessary stuff.

The building works really detract from the hotel. It is the first thing that you see as you enter the hotel. I understand that this is essential but it really is ugly and noisy. The lifts are in an awful mess. Somewhat bizarrely the some of the floors only have down buttons for the lifts. This is silly when the...

Firstly there are major refurbishing works going on in the reception area. Whilst this is happening Reception has been moved into the bar area. The rooms were ready before the advertised 2pm which was great. The room we had this time seemed more run down than last time we stayed. However you can't complain really for central london as this...

This is our second stay at St Giles Hotel and if this had been our first we would not have booked again. There are extensive building works going on which we were not informed of until after the booking was made and quite frankly it is like walking through a building site. After queuing for 5 minutes to check in...

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
