The hotel has a very nice location, situated next to the cafe and restaurants of Gloucester road, benefiting as well with a short walk access to Gloucester underground station. The hotel however needs a lot of improvement. The lobby seems new , however the reception staff were very slow during the check-in they they do not really know how to...

The room was a twin and was a little bit tired but clean through out. The size of the room was huge and everything worked. If you consider that the cost of the room was only GBP95 a night in a fantastic location near transport and entertainment in one of the best areas in London, you can forgive a bit...

Arrived early and got checked in by 11:30am on a Saturday which was impressive. The couple we were with couldn't check in so had to wait till later for check in. Dropped all bags in our room and headed out. Came back around 5pm to get them checked in, well done to them - a state room on the 5th...

Best part is the location in between High St Kensington and Chelsea also the tube station next to it. Checking in staff were great made you feel welcomed. Always seem to be an issue with the card key as you would need to change it every so often. Paid the extra for club Lounge access. Strangest thing there is no...

Nice hotel with reasonable price. Conveniently located close to shops and resturants as well as underground. The hotel is not modern and the rooms dated with a lot of miles on them but it was still a comfortable stay. Free wi-fi is always welcome and the staff friendly. I was in room for disability people and it was very comfortable.

I stayed here with friends and loved the experience. Great ambience and service, and really good location as well. The only issue I had was with the wifi - there was no connectivity inside the rooms, which was rather unexpected. But other than that, it was a great stay!

Stayed here for my wife's birthday, location was great and had tube station 3 minutes walk away. The lobby was very nice and the staff were really pleasant The room was a little dated ( think that was the style mainly ) but bed was comfy and the bath and shower were fine. There were tea and coffee making facilities...

My wife and I used this hotel 10 years ago when we got married in Chelsea and decided to book back there for our anniversary this year. Staff were excellent and made us feel very welcome, we were surprised with a room upgrade to the Club level and were greeted in the room by a complimentary bottle of Prosecco and...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
