Rooms clean, beds firm and very comfortable, pillows also hard or soft, not top quality feather, but good, carpets clean, no smell, television large, good choice of channels although the BBC needs to be shut down they no longer transmit the truth but rather a twisted antisemitic nonsense, coffee machine, kettle and fridge all worked well, fridge was not noisy, heating perfect for cold winter, bathrooms 4* standard (toilet seat doesn't have slow close) very hot strong water for shower or bath, no toilet brush, sink very basic, no drawers in bathroom, lighting mediocre, no place to shave with magnified mirror, great desk to work at, comfortable chair for work and extra armchair for reading next to nice open window with view of lords cricket ground and a cemetery :) I asked for a low floor due to Shabbes away from lift, which they gave me. Considering I was facing the road the noise from the road was really minimal. Only down side! Every 10 mins you hear the train going by, but considering I slept well and the trains stop from 11pm to 6am, so not terrible. Overall, great friendly staff, cleaning of room, excellent, recommend if you are need a good quality hotel in that location. It's not the Ritz, it doesnt look fancy, but very practical and clean. My score over 4.9* only downside is train, which you might not hear if you take a higher floor.

7 of us stayed at the Danubius Regents Park on New Year's Day 2020 to attend a Premier League match. Only a 5 minute walk to St. John's Wood underground station means all of London is easily accessible. The staff were incredibly helpful and the service was excellent for dinner and breakfast, both of which were of a high quality. The rooms are beautifully finished with a particular highlight for me being the high water pressure of the shower. The area is excellent for anyone looking for a leisurely walk or run/cycle with Regents Park nearby and stunning buildings surrounding it. I will definitely return on my next trip to London.

My family stayed in Deluxe family room for 6 nights, we were four, to adults and our “kids“(22+24 years old). The room was clean and modern and nothing to complaint about and the bathroom was spacious with both bathtub and walk-in shower. The refrigerator was not filled up with wine and alcohol so that was great for us so we could use it for our goods instead. Minor personal comment that I have are a) Need Nespresso machine in the room b) Not able to lock the bathroom c) I find it more hygienic to have laminated parquet instead for carpet
The breakfast that we tried once did not fulfil our standards – If you compare to Hilton (100%) the breakfast is around 50-60%.
It is possible to walk for around 10 min from the hotel to St. John´s Wood High street there is a small cosy shopping street with bakery’s and Starbucks, Pret a Manger etc.
Transport was great with bus 13 or 113 from the hotel to (shopping) centrum. And the Tube (Jubilee line) stops in Baker street or at St. Johns wood station for longer distances.

Visited recently for a friend's hen weekend. Stayed in a twin room for 2 nights. The hotel is a short walk from St Johns Wood tube station. The entrance to the hotel is down a side road. You have to walk past a couple of shops and restaurants to reach it.
The front desk staff were very helpful when we checked in.
We had drinks in the bar/lounge on the first night and the staff were very friendly. We initially asked for an itemised bill for the drinks but when the bar closed for the night they said they would charge them to the room. This however caused some confusion at the end of the stay as they didn't specify what drinks they were charging to the room and there was a lot of us there from different rooms. If you do get asked this make sure to clarify what drinks you want charged to the room.
The room was a good size for 2 people and clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were quite hard. The curtains were great at stopping light coming through in the mornings.
We put the 'do not disturb' sign on our door as we went back to our room after breakfast on the first day we were there and weren't leaving until after midday. The staff called our room to check if we wanted it cleaned which was unexpected and really nice.
Our room was by the lifts but there wasn't much noise from people coming and going. There wasn't much noise coming from other rooms either. Of course this could just be due to the current climate.
The shower was great. You could change the water pressure as well as the temperature. Just be aware if you are over about 5' 5" you may struggle a bit as the shower head wasn't very high up on the wall.
The breakfast was buffet style. They had a lovely selection of food including pastries, cereal, smoothies, juices and traditional English breakfast items. The pots for the hot food had napkins covering the handles to help protect your hands but in my opinion this didn't stop the heat enough, so be careful if you are getting food from them.
There was plenty of space for everyone to have breakfast. It was served until 10am on the Saturday and Sunday we were there.
Check out was at midday and the reception staff were very friendly and offered to hold our luggage or arrange transport if we needed it.
Overall it was a really great stay. I would definitely look to come back and would recommend it to others.

The hospitality industry is clearing going through a torrid time through no fault of it's own at the moment so I understand that things are going to be a bit different than usual. That said, I would have thought that they would go the extra mile with those customers that are still using their services. Unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case here. It was obvious immediately from the deserted car park and reception that they had very few guests staying with them with makes their decision to put us in a tiny room with no view and a constant noise of bubbling water overhead unfathomable. To be fair they didn't quibble when I asked to be moved but the fact that the receptionist was pleased to tell me that the new room was much larger and nicer just underlines my point. These businesses are fighting for survival so why aren't they putting guests in the best rooms available? The extra costs would be marginal but the impact would be substantial. Use the rooms with a view over Regents Park or Lords not the ones overlooking the construction site and railway line. I appreciate that staff are still on furlough but does the bar really need to close at 10:30 on a Saturday night?

On a positive note, the rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was nice and powerful and the aircon worked effectively.

This hotel is in a good location in a quieter part of London but still only 5 min walk to nearest tube and the St. John's Wood area, a 30 min walk to Camden Town and next door to beautiful Regents Park. Our room was a bit on the small side (Standard) with not a great view but it was very clean and the shower was nice and hot and powerful. The bar and restaurant area are nice and bright. The hotel staff in the bar and at breakfast were very nice and pleasant. We had breakfast on 2 mornings and it was very delicious with loads of choice. We would definitely stay here again.

Had to stay here back in June when my Airbnb booking turned out not to exist. Was made really welcome late at night. Decided not to bother with Airbnb anymore as I couldn't / didn't want to take the risk again.

Unfortunately can't help yourself to breakfast due to COVID,although this may have been the case previously, but breakfast fine, although coffee could do with being of a better quality, espedcially for a four star hotel.

Was kindly upgraded this time, however fridges in these newly decorated rooms don't have an ice box section in it or a thermostat to adjust the temperature so the drinks I put in there were not cold.

I know I am being fussy / particular, but these things little things are important to me and will also be to a guest coming to stay there in August.

I would like to recommend this hotel to those, who like to see all attractions in London, but still enjoy a quiet location.

This hotel is easy to access(bus stop just outside of the hotel, which goes to Baker st, Oxford Circus, etc.), the hotel staff always very attentive, especially Miora and Dariusz. Both of them were very friendly and helped me to find the best room for my stay. Breakfast is delicious, service also fast and friendly.

Me, my partner Mark and our Spaniel Sunny have been there for 20 days. Our house flooded on last 12th July and we needed to find a place for working, pet friendly, very clean and not too expensive. We live in London, and we know it's an expensive city, and we have arrived there with lot of stress and worries.

So, after more or less 20 days, we absolutely recommend Danubius to all the people looking for high standards for affordable prices! There is also a nice and small fitness room, free for all the clients.

We will always be grateful for the warming and attentive service in the restaurant, starting from our breakfast: Sodrul, Rose, Ashanti, Erika, Julia are wonderfully managed by Shihab, always super kind, attentive and ready to make everybody happy during their stay.

Excellent food, very well executed dishes with fresh products, and super nice cocktails to sip after a hard day.

Great Reception and concierge, very helpful in every situation.

Food for both breakfast and dinner was severely overpriced and poor in quality. £12 for a curry with 4 bits of chicken, the blandest poached eggs imaginable with no butter for toast, very slow food service at dinner, out of date milk given, broke shower head, very slow to warm up, bathroom bin still had the previous person’s rubbish in, dated rooms, one room the window doesn’t open and you have a view of the generator (I asked to move rooms from that one).

It’s a bed to sleep, the staff are very helpful. I think they all realise how terrible the hotel is.
