Perfect location for the museums - which are literally a few steps away. Plus a few steps across the road from S Ken tube station. Also ideal for convenient walking access to Hyde Park & Kensington Gardens

Stayed one night here due to the location. We were upgraded at check in and had a great room which overlooked the high street. Great room proportions (for London) and it felt light and airy. Would highly recommend and definitely return. Felt like a treat!

We stayed one night and chose Pelham for its location in relation tot he Royal Albert Hall (just a few minutes walk away) With access as well to the V & A museum as well as the Natural History, we hardly had any time to sight see the area and take in Chelsea and Kensington. Maybe next time! Thank you...

The Pelham is a small boutique hotel in the heart of South Kensington... with an amazing staff, beautifully appointed rooms, and an amazing continental breakfast. Its location is also not to be beat... the tube is just steps away, as are world class museums, a thriving restaurant and cafe scene and a nice neighborhood for strolling (all this versus the...

The overall experience would have been ok but an expensive and highly semtimental jacket got stolen from our room ( which was close at all time). Although the management was profesional in dealing with the situation we found it outrageous that someone from the hotel team actually stole something from a guest room.

Old wallpaper with matching curtains. Marble bathroom. Not as big as we thought. I guess you can pay more for a better room but would be pricey. Bedding is nice though and we had a quiet night's sleep. We'd have liked the breakfast to be included.

On the good side this hotel is extremely well situated, right opposite South Kensington tube station and a few metres from the main museums. Its also very pretty, with well equipped rooms and the staff are very nice. On the minor side the check-in and check-out was slow due to lack of staff though. Generally I get the idea that...

Very nice location, very cozy and british style. Excellent position to move by bus and by metro, that are in front of hotel, and by taxi that are 100 metres. The nearby underground will not disturb. We will meet again soon

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
