Stayed there on New Year's eve with friends. Generally speaking, the place is okay for the money we paid, a bit weird system though, because initially we have booked a room in Dolphin Inn. Very good location close to Paddington Train Station, so for those who travel from there is very convenient. The room was tidy with 4 sleeping places....

The rooms are a bit small and with no lifts - however, the breakfast was excellent and plentiful to keep everyone satisfied for the mornings. The staff were excellent. Both at the reception and at breakfast I found all the help that I needed and sometimes even went beyond what I expected. The hotel is situation just one corner away...

We stayed at the Shakespeare hotel over the Christmas holidays until after New Year. Our room was small, but cosy, and even though we had loads of luggage we had no problem with the space in the room. The bathroom was recently refurbished, there was no water spilling anywhere whilst we showered, and there was constantly hot water. The room...

Great place to stay on a budget. I was in London for a few days on a business trip. The rooms are small but very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast needs improvement (little sealed portions of butter, jam, nutela, would improve things) but the freshly made waffles are great. The 24h reception is very handy and...

The room was the smallest room i've ever seen! I booked this hotel for 5 nights for a single room. The bed was a single bed near the window. I had to put a pillow so i would not feel the cold air coming through the window. The rest of the room was also the size of a single bed!...

Dear Elise4992, Thank you for taking the time to review us. Feedback is really valuable for us since only that way we are able to see our flaws and improve ourselves. You were given a Economy Single room which means the room and bathroom are smaller than the standard rooms whilst cheaper. We must apologise that you felt cold in...

Booked this hotel for a one night stay but sadly my flight was delayed for about 24 hours which makes it impossible to check in since I was stuck at Malaysia Airport. Informed Agoda of the situation and they checked with the hotel. To my despair, the hotel refused to accept the cancelation. They still deducted from my credit card...

Dear shiman n, Thank you for reviewing us. We are sorry for your flight delay and we understand that during these days many people had the same problem as you did. However, our cancellation policy is clear and from our point of view at the beginning we did not feel we should compensate you, this what travel insurance does. Please...

My husband and I stayed at this hotel over the past weekend. It's location is perfect being a couple of minutes walk away from Paddington Station. We had a room on the 3rd floor which was a hell of a walk from the reception area. The room was fine, clean and had 4 single beds. Two things I was not...

Stayed here for one night with my sister in late November. My partner and I stayed here for one night after seeing a show at the West End. We weren't expecting too much but were pleasantly surprised. Room was clean and simple. The perfect place to stay during your visit in London. Very nice neighborhood, a personal favourite, with nice cafes and restaurants. A very nice walk to Hyde Park is recommended or to Oxford Street for those shopping lovers, both are walking distance away. Rooms have been upgraded and there is always someone to help. The price is very low, for what you get, so be sure to check us out. ... more   less
