The room was small, the bathroom was like a caravan bathroom but it was clean, what do you expect for the money i would 100% stay here again if its 1 or 2 days. only a few minutes walk to the tube. there is a car park 6mins walking which costs 32 pound for 24 hours

Location: location is pretty good. It's near two metro undergrounds. There are plenty places to eat near by of different types of food. There are like two supermarkets near by, as well. Bus 43 has a stop nearby, also. Rooms: rooms are ok. You can hear clearly your neibors leaving or arriving their rooms. Rooms have small plasmas, but you...

This is a "hostel" but not a very user friendly hostel. There is no community kitchen. There is no community space to sit with other visitors; when traveling on a budget, word of mouth is the best advice. There are a couple of pubs nearby that have free WiFi and the food is great too!

First of all- the staff are really friendly and helpful, but the hotel sets limits for what they can do for you. The beds in our first room were so hard we had to change rooms. The room looked dirty as well, and really ugly, and the construction work right outside was extremely loud. Our new room looked much cleaner,...

I have been to London several times and this is the worse hotel I have been to. The main building looks ok, but if you get transferred to another building, you're in trouble. If you have to book, insist on the building where you booked in, even then, give it a miss. In the building around the corner, there was...

Much of what people have said is true about this hotel. Charge £10 for TV remote if your a student. Ours was free when we asked at reception. No plug in sink that is in the smallest bathroom in the world. Caravan bathrooms have more room lol. You so have to pick 4 items of a piece of paper that...

Location of hotel is good i.e. close to two metro lines and close walking distance to many bars, restaurants, shops etc. Have to pay for wifi - have to pay to get a fresh towel - things here just seem like a money making exercise to the owners and not about making the customer comfortable. Bathroom was tiny, like a...

The hotel is close to many metro stops, the area is quiet. Our room was clean with just the essential items for our stay, but it is a cheap hotel so we had what we expected. The staff was very kind and friendly. The only negative aspect was the lack of free Wi-Fi: we needed to pay for it and...

It's a clean and simple hotel. The room was a bit cold. But there was a heater in the room which worked will. The bathroom was really small. I'm slim and I felt abit differcult to move around the bathroom. I had to open the door to make it abit better. However the breakfast was really good. I could choose...

Great place to stay. Walking distance to Bayswater station where we can find a lot of halal food. Good bargain for the area to stay especially for Malaysian travellers. I look forward for another stay.

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
