My husband has stayed a few times but this was the first time we had stayed together and we had a room overlooking Hyde Park which was lovely. The room was fine but I'm told that it is about the smallest one he has had but then we had the view so that is fine. The bathrooms are a bit...

I want to start with the positives....great location to the tube & right opposite Hyde Park. Also the water in the bathroom was lovely & hot & my bath was run within 5 minutes due to great water flow, clean bedding & towels & a lift. That's it....as we were staying here for 2 nights we had to look for...

Stayed here one night for a weekend course running at the hotel. It is not glamorous in any way, shape or form, but for a very reasonable price I had a spotlessly clean room with bath (OK, the suite was avocado green!), very comfy double bed and hospitality tray. Add to this the fact that the staff were efficient and...

Stayed mid week for two nights with a group of 40. Old fashioned hotel throughout but fresh, clean and functional. Staff pleasant and organised. Good is good, plain breakfasts reasonably priced and quick. Quick access to Paddington station and Lancaster gate station. But plus just across the road from large park area for excercise. No gym inside. Suggest when booking a bigger...

Single room had an extra staircase to the main door, the bathroom immediately inside the bedroom door was a staircase away from the bed. The bathroom smelt atrocious and there was a sign saying the drains were being renovated. Over hot room - had to get porter to open stiff latch type window. Sign saying dont leave window open because...

This hotel is in a great location 10 to 12 minute walk from Oxford Street. Sadly that is the only nice detail about this hotel. It was very old and dated. The room was quite and small but smelled musky and the carpet was ill fitting with lumps every where. The bathroom was also very dated and the toilet did...

We spent two nights here and for the price we paid as part of an EasyJet's package were apprehensive. We were pleasantly surprised. Although as others have said the internal decor is dated, which is true, we thought this hotel was fantastic value for money. Literally across the road from Hyde Park, close to Tube and the restaurants on Queensway...

Just back from a 3 night stay in a family room with our two boys. If you like modern hotels this hotel is not for you. I loved its outer appearance, interior and grand staircase. Our family room, room 325 was spacious and comfortable. The rooms are old fashioned but they are very clean and the staff are so helpful...

I stayed in here in 2015, any hotel that's had Oasis, Anton Newcombe, Bowie, Jagger and others as guests is worth a visit. It's like stepping back in time, in a sense, not luxurious at all, but decently priced for central London.
