Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location was great and the staff members were so kind. We especially enjoyed the service of Panny. He remembered our names and kindly greeted us every time we saw him. The room was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Hotel's Favourite
The Park Lane Intercontinental is one of my favorite hotels in the world. Truly “world Class”. From the moment I arrive the friendly door staff greet me by name and assist with my luggage. As a Diamond tier member I am greeted again at check in and upgraded. Amenities are waiting for me in my room along with a note from the manager. Time to settle into the bar for a cocktail and some small bites. The food here is very very good. And the selection is outstanding. I always make it a point to book the Club Floor lounge. One of the finest in the IHG universe. With customized breakfast offerings and a fine buffet. And never miss a chance to dine at Theo Randall. One of my favorite Italian restaurants in London. All in all a fantastic home away from home while on business. Thank you to all my friends at The Park Lane Intercontinental.

We stayed here for 2 nights with 2 rooms as a family. Really nice hotel with a great location. I´d loved to go for run every morning in the hyde park. As platinum member and ihg employee i got a room upgrade. The rooms we were told were renovated, they were okay, but seemed not to be super modern. The brekfast was great even we missed few things like pancakes for kids, some guacamole for the bread or champagne, that usually other intercontinental hotels serve on weekends breakfast. We had a dinner once at the bar, it was good. But here it comes, what was really disapointing, specialy for me as beeing also employed to ihg. As i work at FO, i know first and last impressions are most important. And our last one was very bad. On day of departure i came down to the FO desk and was served by mr. Edaa. It seems she was just up to get rid of me as fast as possible. No "hello, how was your stay" when i arrived and said i want to check out. The bill appear on the screen. No "sir, there is your bill, can you check if it is correct?". So i checked the invoice by myself. It was okay. The lady took the payment and said no more word to me. Sth like "Thank you for staying with us" and "Have a safe trip home" or "hope to see you again". So after all that last impression made us to drop the total result to just a 3 out of 5.

From the moment we arrived we were treated with wonderful service at the Intercontinental Park Lane. From the doorman remembering our names to the bar staff welcoming us to our little corner every afternoon. The location is perfection - band we loved being able to walk to all of our favourite places.

Stayed at the hotel for my partners birthday and we were immediately impressed. After receiving a warm welcome from the doormen and reception team we were upgraded from a classic mayfair to a premium mayfair room which was a lovely surprise. There was also a beautiful cake saying happy birthday waiting for us in the room, which was a lovely touch. Clean, modern room which was spacious (by London standards) and the same throughout the rest of the hotel. We can't wait to return soon!

Didn’t stay here but visited for a large awards evening. Lovely to pull up in taxi and doorman there to open door and show us where to go. Every staff member we came across was superb, although I was surprised by the amount of security staff around. The drinks reception area felt abit too small for the size of event and inevitably became very warm. Food and drink all night was exceptional although not all of this was supplied by the hotel, the staff serving were great and there were plenty of them The ballroom itself was lovely but unfortunately we were at the very back of the room, this meant we were blocked by very large pillars from seeing the stage and the AV and sound all night was awful. We really struggled to hear the speakers and announcements. They did have screens around the venue but instead of showing the presenters live they were just showed the awards screen. The whole evening was clearly well managed and set up and it’s a lovely venue but AV and sound were really disappointing.

I have stayed in/at many quality hotels around the world, and this one was the best. The staff from the moment I approached the hotel were caring, helpful and very friendly. I informed the receptionist that I was there for a birthday and was treated to a birthday card and cake. I shall definitely stay there again.
