The hotel is conveniently situated near 2 underground stations. The staff was incredibly helpful and polite, and the check-in process was super quick. However, we had booked a superior room which turned out to be very small and in need of maintenance in the bathroom, the mirror was extremely rusty, the bath had rust and mould throughout and cracks down the walls. It wasn't as clean as we expected for a 4-star hotel, spillages on the desk that hadn’t been cleaned and bed linen was stained (see photos taken on arrival). We had specifically chosen this hotel for my partners birthday for a relaxing night away from the hustle and bustle due to it’s recommendations of a quiet location, but unfortunately, the staff failed to inform us about the scaffolding and works right outside our window. The blinds were pulled down when we arrived, so we had no idea about the ongoing construction. The room was barely spacious enough for two people, and it was uncomfortably hot - we couldn't even open the windows due to the maintenance work happening right outside and when I pulled the blind up in the morning there was 2 men stood with a clear view right outside our window. To make matters worse, the noise from the construction started at 8 am, vibrating the entire room. We couldn't bear the noise any longer, so we decided to check out earlier than planned. Fantastic hotel, close to the tube station. All newly renovated and super clean. Staff were very helpful and room was beautiful. Highly recommended for visiting London on work or holidays. Rooms were a good size and beds were comfy. Good Breakfast.

I spent HOURS researching "the perfect" hotel in London for our recent 4-night stay in October. As tourists, we wanted our experience to include great service, a great aesthetic, a good breakfast, and an optimal location. We checked all of those boxes during our stay at La Suite West and are so happy we decided to book. We were a little unsure because it's not one of the top suggested hotels (even the local people/taxis hadn't ever heard of it) and something about the website and very affordable price as compared to other hotels, made me feel uncertain. However, I am pleased to tell you that we were wrong on all accounts, and it just happens to be a secret gem tucked away on a 1-way side street just off of Hyde Park. It feels very much like a neighborhood is a very quiet location rather than the hustle & bustle that can sometimes leave you up at all hours of the night. There was some street noise until about 10pm each night and starting again around 7am each day, but that was fine for us since we were mostly going to bed/getting up around the same time each day. There is a continental breakfast that comes with the room rate and despite what other reviews say, we found it to be quite generous and tasty. It was more than enough considering it was part of the already affordable room rate. We booked a Junior Suite which I highly recommend to anyone looking to stay here as the other rooms are quite small (the average in most London hotels). The junior suite was spacious and perfect for 2-people. We had beautiful tall windows overlooking the quite/tree-lined street and it was bright and airy. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff were extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. I forgot to pack my medication which was a problem - and they were very helpful in assisting me in where to go to resolve it. We arrived quite early circa 9am from a U.S. flight - and although our room wasn't ready - they stored our luggage and we spent a wonderful day walking through Hyde Park, watching The Changing of the Guards, visiting the Churchill War Rooms, and enjoying a lunch on the patio of Kensington Palace. The location is very accessible to a number of attractions by foot and easy access to city transportation to include buses, the train/underground, and taxis. The buses and underground are incredibly easy to navigate/pay for and much easier to find your way around vs. a place like NYC. …

The hotel is nice and clean and staff friendly. The rooms are good and comfortable with toiletries and towels provided. The only negatives is our key was very temperamental to use and we kept having to go back downstairs to get it fixed. Also the breakfast room is very small with not a massive variety and no direction of what to do. If this was all cleared up then I would have given it a 5 definitely.

Great location, super close to Bayswater Tube station. We booked a junior suite which was quite large (we were given a ground floor disability suite, which migt be why we had a lot of room). Super clean and bathroom was good also. We arrived early but the staff advised as as soon as possible when the room was ready. While we waited we walked over to Hyde Park and found that the Princess Diana Playground was close so that my child could play while we waited. We would definately stay around this area again, staff were great. Highly recommend Granier Bakery Cafe for breakfast, best coffee and pastries :)

Room are so nice and quite, I managed to work couple hours,,, Wi-Fi hight speed, nice disk in room with London victorian houses view with Nespresso machine inside Queensway hight street just walking distance with lots of variety of Resturent and cafe shops, staff so helpful, check- in and check- out was very quick.

We stayed for 4 nights at La suite west in Hyde park in a junior suite arriving the night that the local caribbean festival concluded - busy and noisy but all good . We have previously stayed in london and are well aware of the small room sizes so upon reading the description of the junior suites i was pleased to note that they were spacious with large bathrooms .. well unfortunately our room was not spacious nor did it have a large bathroom - the bathroom allowed for one person to use the bathroom at a time with little storage and a shower that constantly overflowed and didn’t drain properly- a slipping hazard for sure , we just used towels to cover the floor .. the bed was large and comfy however allowed very little access down the side , the TV in the bedroom didn’t work properly but was finally fixed , there are numerous power outlets next to the bed thou which was very handy .. our room comprised of three sections - one tiny bedroom , tiny sitting room and bathroom with little steps up and down to each .. the sitting room was tiny with a lounge ( if used as a sofa bed you would struggle to get in the room ) and definitely not aimed at sitting down to watch tv etc .. thankfully we were out most of the day and night exploring london , our room backed on to the alley way behind and had scaffolding everywhere not that i saw anyone on the scaffolding when we were in the room thankfully.so no balcony or street views for us . i could hear the persons in the room above as well as when they used their shower and also a baby crying … im a light sleeper so was a little disappointed with this . We had breakfast included which was a continental style with cereals, fruit yoghurt , pastries toast etc and it was quite nice and all we needed to start the day .. we enjoy a peppermint tea but struggled to order this most days .. the hotel staff struggled to understand english which at times was frustrating . We also found the TV programs / channels on offer disappointing and despite numerous chats at the front counter did not locate a sports channel at all ( considering the UK is the heart of the EPL thought this was a little strange ? but to be honest we did struggle to have the front counter staff understand our requests - perhaps i should have use google translate ?) La suite west is very conveniently located close to bayswater underground which was fabulous and also has a good selection of eateries nearby and of course adjacent to hyde park for walks etc . For a reasonably priced hotel i was a little disappointed and of course i could have voiced my concerns to the management but to be honest it was all too hard . we just won’t choose to stay there again .…
