We stayed at KHH during a recent visit to London for a RAH show. The room was very small for the price but we understand this is Kensington prices. Although small, the room itself was clean and tidy and of good tasteful decor. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and without fault. The Continental...

Not a boutique hotel but clean, comfortable, with good linens and good wifi. Several business travelers were staying there, a few other couples, saw no families. It's in an excellent location off the Kensington High Street below Hyde Park. Near bus transportation, Kensington Palace, several museums, and the shops and restaurants of the High Street. Near Imperial College and Royal...

Again we had a wonderful time staying at this lovely Hotel, from walking through the front door the Staff welcomed us so warmly, remembering all my funny quirks and put us in a wonderful large clean warm room full of all amenities. The breakfast is basic but plentiful and the staff will cater to your needs. I love the location...

Lovely hotel in Kensington and very close to the tube. Stayed for one night and everyone was very welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely and just what we needed. We had a good stay here and would look at staying here again if we needed to stay over in London

Booked this after deciding to shop around for a good deal as we were attending a concert at the Royal Albert Hall. The hotel is not too far from the RAH so worth considering if you are going to an event. We have stayed at many hotels in London but this is one we won't stay in again. Having booked...

We booked here based on location and price. We were not disappointed in terms of location, as we were a stone's throw from Kensington High Street and the Royal Albert Hall. Also on the positive side, although very young and inexperienced the staff were very helpful and eager to please. The things we would call out are: 1. Price, we...

We stayed here as a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers in a Junior Suite for one night. The Hotel is 10mins walk from High St Kensington Tube, and 10 mins walk from the Natural History, Science, and V&A Museums and the Royal Albert Hall. The building is beautiful, and many original features have been retained. It's a very...

Stayed for one night as we were at an event in a hotel across the way. Very near the tube station but the website didn't give good directions and we had to go on google maps to find it. High steps at the front of the hotel but we were approached on arrival to ask if we wanted help with...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
