Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.

Summary of room 623: Single window overlooking huge air conditioning machines, that made a terrible noise, that due to poor isolation was your constante companion in the room. Not going to repeat in this hotel.

Anytime you visit a foreign country things get complicated, expensive and things can be over the top!! Now is the perfect time to visit London. The pound is down, the dollar gets you more for your money and this hotel is still great! Wake up to breakfast in the executive lounge or restaurant (try the english sausages) each morning! A little disappointed they no longer serve smoked salmon at breakfast like many of the other Hiltons but?? Easy commute to the airport on the tube with no stairs, about 5 pounds. Get an Oyster card! I read the one or two negative reviews and wonder what they are talking about. The people are great! The location is perfect and if you have a problem with your room they will get you another. What more can you ask??

When your room costs you 500+ Pounds per night, you should expect - at least - free wi-fi and a coffee machine in the room. Not to mention soundproof walls, black-out curtains and so on. This is 80’s luxury sold at the price of gold.

Review collected in partnership with Hilton Hotels & Resorts
The hotel charged 350 pounds upon check in as deposit, which is standard for most hotels. It has been over 3 weeks now since I checked out from the hotel and they still haven't refunded my security deposit, knowing that I did not order our buy any thing during my stay. I called the hotel a few times and they keep saying that they had released the deposit but they don’t know why I did not receive it yet. My bank is telling the opposite, that the hotel took the full amount after my check out. Seriously I didn't expected this from Hilton.

No outdoor terrace on exec lounge for smokers - i know for sure. Do make sure they know its a 60th Birthday Celebration. They will be extra hospitable.

What type of room can accommodate a roll-away bed for my young adult son?
There very accommodating. Rooms are larger than average so a roll away or pull out sofa bed will be a good size/ Philip
