My wife and I had booked to stay at this hotel for the weekend of the 20th and 21st March 2020. We made the booking via Groupon. Initially I had to call the hotel to book the rooms, the phone number provided was an 0871 number and it cost me over £15 for the phone call. Unfortunately because of the onset of Covid-19 we were unable to travel to London therefore I had to contact the hotel to cancel so that I could get my money back. The call centre that handled the call were less than helpful and even argued that I should have called prior to the first night to cancel despite the advice from the government to not travel. The call to cancel cost me a further £20+ therefore I gained nothing from booking through Groupon an had to put up with the rude and unhelpful staff at this establishment. Whatever you do, do not book with these people.

Really scruffy , disgusting stained carpets & badly stained toilets., if this is your thing then you’ll be in your element This is the worst hotel I have ever had to endure. I didn’t book it for myself it was booked by a colleague. I gather it is very cheap so I guess you get what you pay for , but believe me it’s grim

Before I checked I tried to park, but the hotel’s facility was full of contractor vans so absolutely no chance. Unfortunately roads around the area have suspended parking or for residents only. I decided to check in and seek advise. The smell of body sweat in reception was horrendous and not only was this contributed by contractors, but also male personnel from the hotel. The hotel reception decor dates back to late 80’s so not a great impression. Anyhow having checked in I asked about parking and was told that the only place was at Swiss Cottage with a company called Regency Parking (this a 15min walk back to hotel). This was my only choice to park so I decided to try it. I arrived at 18.30 so the parking charge would £15 until 23.59 then another £15 from then because it’s another day. This was a total rip off so I didn’t even return to the hotel and went somewhere else considering the bad feeling I had of the hotel and the parking inconvenience. I will never book this hotel again.

Stayed here while working in London . Looks ok from the outside but dated on the inside Staff were ok but could have made more of an effort . Reasonable parking charges and a half decent pint . Rooms were again outdated but clean and acceptable . If your after the ritz then Youl have to spend a bit more Other than that sufficient and a cheap base to explore the capital .
