One word describes this hotel - Class. I cannot see the need for 200 words when one word covers everything from food, service, room, price, location, ambience. So for me the one word is sufficient!!!!

Stayed in for a night and instantly like this hotel. They have a Superb location - just around the corner from oxford street. Shoppings and Foods are just within walking distancea. Marble arch and Hyde park are just across the street. Price is not cheap but with such location, I could understand. Room is quite nice. Not too new but...

Location and hotel are good. Don't fall for the non-refundable half price breakfast offer though - coffee machines are all broken, long queues for food that takes forever, guests that seem intent to fill up handbags for their mid-morning snack, limited healthy options, etc. Ruined an otherwise pleasant stay.

Cumberland is regular place of rest for me when working in London. The rooms are comfortable and staff always pleased to provide assistance on getting me right room for my stay. The choice and venue for breakfast is superb.

The cumberland had great service, very helpful staff when I was stressed in the morning due to a rescheduled meeting who helped me take some breakfast to go even tough it's against policy (as it usually is). Also came to fix my air conditioner in under 5 min, turned out it wasn't broken - it was just me who couldn't...

I was disappointed to be in an English hotel and found no tea in our room. After waiting 4 hours and 3 calls we finally went and got...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
