Fantastic stay in London for sightseeing
Arrived really early 1030am
Went to hotel hopefully dropping bags off to later check in but staff did a quick check and finished preparing our room in super quick time. We actually got our room keys at 11am instead of 230pm
Friendly welcoming staff felt very relaxed and comfortable. Room very large (twin) well equipped.
12oclock check out is very positive we even left our bags at hotel to pick up later that afternoon before leaving London
Definitely going to stay here again going to bring our grandson(10) to London to see natural history museum /science museum /albert hall as easy walking distance brilliant thank you Kelly and Helen.

I would return here in a heartbeat. My trip was postponed several times due to the pandemic, but the hotel management could not have been more accommodating, even upgrading me to a larger (and charming!) room when I finally arrived. The place is scrupulously clean and is very quiet, but also very near a major tube station, as well as being walking distance to Harrods, several parks, Kensington Palace, a couple of shopping districts, and several major museums. The restaurant that used to be part of the hotel had not yet reopened when I was there, but there are plenty of wonderful cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood. Wonderful personal attention from the hotel personnel.

We came at short notice as I had to cancel a very big holiday due to my health so we decided to go to London for a few days so at least I would be away for my 50th birthday.
We found parking which was underground secure parking just a couple of minutes away and was easy to get to.
The location of the hotel was perfect as i didn’t want to be rushing everywhere and it was within walking distance of the Natural History Museum and on the day of my birthday we went to the secret garden for afternoon tea and again this was about a 10 minute walk so was perfect.
When I arrived I was greeted with a vase of flowers for my birthday.
The kitchen was being renovated but for breakfast you could go to reception for coffees, teas, croissants and fruit.
On the morning of my birthday my husband went down to get a few bits and came back up with a bottle of bubbly and 2 glasses which was such a nice touch.
The owners were very friendly and would do anything to help.
We will come back to London and we have already said because of the location we would stay here again.

We arrived at the hotel and we were greeted by a very polite young man who checked us in, showed us to our room and how things worked, so it started off well.

The room itself was dated and in need of some updating. It definitely was not a luxury room as the photos had shown. Paint peeling off the wall, rusty radiators, wallpaper put on the wall very badly, marks on the ceilings and coving. Net curtains were a bit grey looking and the TV didn’t work properly, the kettle was shoved in the wardrobe with some cheap mugs, not that we used it.

It would appear they have renovated some of the rooms and bathrooms, but not the one we stayed in.

No breakfast was included, which was a good thing as the coffee we had in reception was like warm water and no taste of coffee at all and took about 20 minutes to arrive.

The positive - it was a good central location near to the Royal Albert Hall and the beds were comfortable, with clean white linen, otherwise we wouldn’t have stayed.

Have stayed in cheaper places which are much better.

I booked the hotel via its website as it was indicated " free Continental Breakfast if you book direct with us". And the first day morning, besides the usual Continental Breakfast selection, the manager kindly asked if we'd like also to have eggs and sausages as well, without specifying the extra charge for such "English Breakfast". Seeing that it was the first time my travel companions visit London, we gladly accepted the offer. With all our respect, the English Breakfast was rather disappointing, with canned tomato and mushroom, the whole not specially tasty... By the way, we declined the offer the next morning. When we check-out, we were very surprised to find the bill with Continental Breakfast 15£/person and English Breakfast 22£/person. The hotel said that the room rate didn't include breakfast, but there was no way we could have known that especially when it was clearly indicated the contrary on the website (see picture attached). After some insistence, they finally suggested that we pay only the English Breakfast 22£ each which we had no choice but to accept. But we should have just paid the difference of 22£ - 15£ = 7£ each since the English Breakfast includes the continental breakfast which I consider that we were entitled to.
It was a pity because due to this incident, I don't think we will return to this hotel the next time, even though the location is quite good, just a few minutes walk from the tube station and the rooms are rather clean and comfortable.
Attached is the screen capture where the free breakfast offer still on the website today.

We found this hotel on the Internet and after having read the reviews, we decided to book. So glad we did. We were met with a very warm welcome and the proprietor explained everything we needed to know. We had booked 3 rooms and each room was very clean and very tastefully decorated. We were asked if we needed a tea tray and after confirming we did please, one was delivered to each room laden with tea, coffee, milk, teacups and saucers, and a kettle. Unfortunately breakfast was not being served which was disappointing, but all in all a delightful hotel which we would highly recommend. Excellent location. PS. We all agreed the beds were so comfortable and some of our party remarked they had never slept so well for a long time!

I stayed here with my seven year old son, during a weekend trip to London. It was perfect, because it was clean, the host was kind, the room was very quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. The location of the hotel is also ideal: it's a few minutes' walk to a huge variety of restaurants and the Earl's Court underground station. It's also a short walk to Holland Park, which has an excellent playground, and to the Design Museum, which is also fun for kids. Lots of other museums and parks are also easily accessible.

Thank you for your stay and it's our pleasure to meet you and your son, he is cute. Thank you for taking your time to write the review, there are a few museums just a short walk away from us e.g. the Natural History Museum, Science museum and etc. Kids are fascinated by what they may see and touch. We look forward to welcoming you both back in the near future. Best wishes

We where here for two nights and we had a good time. 10 minutes walk to Earls court subway station. Room was ready at 2 pm when we arrived. Bed was very good in our executive room. Approximately 20 square meters. The windows need a good cleaning. They told us on arrival that due to the ongoing Corona situation they don't clean the room every day. The day after at 9 am I asked if they could change towels, replenish soap and clean the bathroom. When we got back at the hotel just before 4 pm nothing was done. I complained and they changed the towels. The cleaning lady asked my wife to pick up the towel from the floor... I asked fòr poached egg today, but it was fried with a hard egg yolk. These small bads should be easy to correct if they want to😊

Staff tried to be helpful but this hotel is almost unbelievably outdated with bathroom, furniture, bedding, carpets, curtains and decorations from the early 1980’s.
Also terrible dust problem. Our daughter visited our room for about 15 minutes but the dust caused an asthma attack.
Previous reviews should be treated with suspicion.
Please find somewhere else to stay.
