We have stayed at this hotel three times in the last 14 months. Service has always been excellent and Clara and her staff couldn't do enough to make us happy. Location was fabulous--across the street from Bond Station. We could walk to Harrods, Selfridges, Buckingham Palace, Marble Arch, Speakers Corner, Shows, Piccadilly Square. Also easy access to Stop-On-Stop-Off Bus. We... More

Located on Oxford street this hotel is just perfect for a shopping trip to London. The room was bigger than expected and the bathroom very clean with lots of possibilities to store your toiletries. (A bit loud until midnight.)

Everything but the location is wrong in this hotel..check in and check out was slow and filled with misstakes..tryed charging me too much..didn't get any promised vouchers for the restaurant etc.The persons at the front desk were not professional in any matter. The deluxe room was something really far,far away from that..smelly, really dirty and dusty all over. Breakfast was... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.

“In London don't expect to have enormous hotel rooms. Rooms overlooking Oxford Street on the upper floors have great views of life in London.”

“We upgraded to a business class room for our 5 night stay which meant we had plenty of space. We had to turn off the air-conditioning because it rattled but at least could open a window. Bed and bathroom were excellent. (note: we did report the rattle)”
