I stayed for a night at a 9 bed mixed room. I could get two positive things out of this hostel. The first one, is that the staff was friendly, and the second, that it is located 10 minutes from Finsbury Park station. On the other hand, the placed looked quite dirty, and the bedding a bit old. The toilets...

Check in procedure was complicated and took a lot of time. Room was dirty and the bed more than unconfortable. Washing rooms also dirty and in bad conditions. But what do you expect for this price in London? The bar in the hotel was very nice to spend time there.

Though the staff members were very friendly and kind, the hostel was indeed a disaster. I had to switch rooms three times, because it was raining and the ceilings leaked. The bathrooms were always dirty and the bedcovers weren't clean ... I would never stay here again.

I already wrote a long review, but TripAdvisor did not post it i think because of a technical problem... This place was horrible and i would not return to this hostel. Even for the little money you pay i would not recommend it. The rooms are full of fungus and the toilets are not clean. I can sum up some...

I had originally booked for two nights- but literally didn't sleep a wink. Very uncomfortable triple bunk beds. Really squeaky floor and door, which meant I was waking up all through the night with people coming into the room. Staff were pretty friendly. Pillow had mud on it, which was a bit rank... If you are a heavy sleeper then...

Uncomfortably bed, horrible sheets, broken window, disgusting little toilets! But the worst was the staff, totally unprofessional and absolutely lazy. Very very poor breakfast! Nice social room, with pool table , tennis table and full of sofas. Don't book here!! Spend few more pounds and have better.

Some comments are exagerated. Indeed, this is not a new generation hostel, but for what you pay --that is nothing for London-- you get a bed and access to a common room. It's not so dirty although not brand new, of course it will all depend on the roommates you get. So overall it's ok if you're not too fussy...

After being there 3 hours and realizing this was the dirtiest hostel I had ever been in, from Hawaii to Madrid...I found a better hostel and checked out. They would not refund any of my money from the 4 nights I cancelled and I hadn't even used the bed. I left comments on FB and they told me they were...
