We really enjoyed our stay at the Mad Hatter. The location is brilliant and the hotel has character, great staff and a good pub on the ground floor. Only worried in case you can't hold out against the surrounding development cos we hope to be staying with you lots in the future!

An excellent experience to rival some 4 star hotels in London but for less than half the price. The rooms are very nicely appointed, the food and drink in the adjoining bar excellent as was the breakfast. I had intended leaving the hotel to find somewhere else to eat but ended up spending the evening there. Location is excellent too.

Despite being told I could have a free drinks to compensate for building works, I was told I couldn't get the money off because I hadn't used the voucher at the time of purchasing the drink, seems to be a little pedantic and misses the point

.it was an easy walk from Waterloo and the directions given were easy to follow. My room was great, larger the most of the hotels I have stayed in, in London as I tend to have to rely on more economical hotels. Staff were very welcoming

Stayed for one night. Excellent location with easy walking to waterloo or over the bridge into The Strand / Covent Garden. Really nice room with tea and coffee. Excellent breakfast in the morning. we didn't eat there in the evening but the menu looked good - what's not to like about pie & ale?

We recently attended an event at the Mad Hatter hotel in Southwark, and decided to stay the night there. We found this to be a very pleasant stay, and would recommend both the Hotel and food to anyone. A free drink was also provided for the inconvenience of work going on outside the hotel.

Nice big rooms. Liked the possibility to brew coffe and the short bread included in the room. Easy to access the subway from the hotel. Nice restaurant with great atmosphere. A bit noicey during datime due to building constructions nearby.

The hotel was lovely, unfortunately there was ground work going on next door which was out of their control. We each received a free drink as an apology, which was very welcome. Would stay here again.

This is the second time I have stayed at this property on business trips. After a day of meetings, its pub and restaurant is a great place to have a bite and a drink. Its location, near Underground and rail, makes it convenient to see many parts of London and there are considerable points of interest within easy walking distance.... More

Room was larger than most other hotels in the area. Staff friendly and food and drink fairly priced. A free drink was available on the website. Really liked staying in a pub/hotel type style atmosphere. Would stay again.
