I am a regular at this site and have to say I really like it a lot. Very friendly staff, clean ablutions and pretty central for days out in and around London. Its actually really quite and you get to wake up in the summer months to the sound of birds which aint easily come by in London. Its fairly... More

Where else could you stay four nights in London for £60????? Plus - for £1.50 each way a bus takes you into central London. You have the choice to cook "at home" or eat out, and all in your own comfortable home on wheels. Great facilities and the people in charge couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. Can't wait to... We have visited this site five times in four or five years, always staying a week or so whilst my husband works in London and my son and I visit relatives and sightsee. Our most recent stay in July 2016 was during a very busy period but even so some of the facilities are beginning to look tatty. In the... More

This is almost a hidden gem but near to amenities. The site is nicely laid out, toilet block spotless . The wardens ( we only saw 2) so friendly and the lady went out of her way to be helpful with directions etc . It's very well situated to the railway station or bus routes into London, about a hour... We booked this place because I was doing the moonwalk and wasn't far from where I needed to be. Park was very clean and the shower blocks were great. Plenty of room and very clean. Soon as we arrived we saw a banner saying good luck to all the moon walkers which I thought was a very special touch. Lovely... More

Stayed in our camper van. Good size hard standing pitch with electricity. Facilities were clean. Showers average, water was hot enough but flow not fantastic, there is a shower curtain but the drying area floor beyond gets wet! Location is great. Getting into London very easy on the bus or train. The staff were very nice. Advisable to book.
