We only stayed here because it came up on Secret Deals. The staff were lovely but the room (a deluxe double!) was the size of a shoe box. I mean tiny. No where to out our case without blocking the path to the bathroom. hardly anywhere to put clothes and no surfaces to put anything down. But the reason we...

A small hotel very close to Victoria station and 15 minutes walk from Buckinham Palace. The hotel is nice - looking, clean, and staff is very helpful. The rooms was small but sufficient for us. We had the King room - the mid level. If you want a place to sit, you need the upper level I guess. Room is...

I strongly recommend this boutique hotel. It is located within a quiet but convenient part of London. You will be just a stone thrown away from Victoria station (very convenient for those of us flying to Gatwick) and walking distance to a whole lot of little restaurants and cafes. For the gadget fans, the rooms are also equipped with high...

The room was very clean and chic. The black out blind was a great addition, and along with the fabulously comfy bed, ensured a great nights sleep. We loved the high tech details in the room....very 007! The staff were attentive but not intrusive. There wasn't anything that we disliked and we would definitely re-visit the hotel again.”

Really pleasant hotel close to Victoria Station and on a very nice traditional square. The staff were all very professional and the rooms are decorated very nicely. The technology is something else and a bit of fun to play around with (lights / massage bed / magic glass in the bathroom etc). Rooms are a good size for London and...

Folks, overall this is a great hotel. If you are into gadgets, they have it. The room is fitted with almost any device you can think off - they even have a phone phone in each room for you to use for the duration of your stay. From electronic curtains to an ipad in the room - they have it....

Rooms are great, clean, functional, equipped (Ipads, etc...) however, the place lacks the friendly luxury atmosphere I love. Team is very nice but they seem uncomfortable and you can sense that they can't make a decision which leads to stressful "wait/where's the manager/i'm not sure" situations. People, empower your teams! Some initiative won't hurt. But, location is ok and the...

I booked via Lastminute.com on the Top Secret Hotel scheme & was delighted when ESH was revealed. Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted by Francesco. I assume that Top Secret bookers get the smallest City Queen room by default (rooms vary in sizes due to the layout of the building & rooms) which if that is the case, is fair...

Stayed at the ESH for a night to attend a show. The hotel is very well situated being a stones throw from Victoria Station so there is a simple gateway to the whole of the tube system. It is approximately 30 mins walk from Piccadilly Circus along the Mall past the Palace. The hotel itself is nicely presented and the...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
