Absolutely love this little gem of a hotel, clean, compact, friendly and helpful staff. The beds were comfortable, fluffy towels, windows that opened, own key, 24hr reception. This is my second visit and it didn’t disappoint. Excellent location. Over the road from St Pancras. Thank you I will definitely be back.

Location is undoubtedly impeccable. My room was assigned in another building just opposit to the reception at the gound floor. There is not elevator in the building so it was convenient to stay on the ground floo but had another noise problem. Room is very basic but nothing more can be expected with the room rate. Bed is comforable and is clean and tidy enough. However, the sound proof was super terrible as I kept hearing the noise from early from from upstairs when the guests started to check out. I could still hearing much noise from upper floor even I had my ear plug. It may be acceptable if you have a really short stay and want to stay close to the train station which is just across the road. But it defintely would not be your choice if you want a comfortable stay.

Well this was very entertaining. The room was so tiny that it was difficult to walk around the beds and find a place to store our luggage. Thankfully it was only for one night before we caught the Eurostar. It was a brilliant location, incredibly close to the station. In our room you could hear the trains running underneath the building which made it a bit tricky to sleep. After checking in we had to walk across the road into another building and then up a few stairs to get to our room. The configuration was quite odd with a small hallway to our room that had a table and mirror for doing your hair etc and then the door remained shut to our sleeping area. The bathroom was very tiny and was very cold and again had a door to the hallway that remained shut. Very strange, a bit like a boarding house I guess. The place was incredibly clean which is all you can ask for, although I don't think I would stay here again.

Good morning, We are sorry to hear you found your accommodation not large. Unfortunately, and because of the convenient location, Hotel rooms tend to be not large in London. The doors layout in the hallways are necessary because of Fire Protection and a legal requirement. Still, we are pleased to hear you found the Alhambra Hotel to offer a GREAT LOCATION and with CLEAN PREMISES. Kind Regards Hotel Manager

I chose this hotel because my outward bound departure was on Eurostar from St Pancras station. It's a great little place for a short stay. My room was small but comfortable. I had some minor issues the first morning but staff got it all fixed up that day while I was out. It was also convenient to je so close to a tube station for daily explorations within the city. I recommend this hotel.

This is one of those old London houses that has been turned into a hotel. It is situated within a few minutes walk from St Pancras International rail station. The accommodation appears to have recently been revamped and is very comfortable and very compact! We had a 2 single bed room with a closet like toilet, shower and basin……also very compact. We requested a room with minimal stairs as there is no elevator. This turned out to be a perfect place for a night as we were leaving for Amsterdam the next day.

There isn't much for a reasonable price at Kings Cross / St. Pancras but Alhambra at it's price is excellent. The room is in an older building so sound proofing isn't as good as a modern hotel, despite that I had an excellent, quiet stay. Rooms are small but big enough to work in, it was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful even for trivial items. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The 2 rooms we were allocated backed onto the courtyard on the opposite side of the road from reception. We were surprised how quiet it was! So handy for central London and all main stations too. Also plenty of lovely places to eat/drink in the area. Very clean and brilliant to have a secure place for luggage. The shower was hot but not powerful (but sufficient)...... probably because we were staying at the top of the building. We would definitely stay again.

Overall we had an ok experience, and might consider staying here again in future if we're on a tight budget. The hotel is perfect location wise, being only a few minutes walk from King's Cross train station, which was ideal for us when we went in August. The stairway to get up to the 3rd floor on which our room was was quite narrow, so just be aware if you have larger luggage that you might struggle. The room itself was nice and clean, but the bed definitely was not a double size as advertised. I have a double at home, and it was definitely smaller. Struggled to fit 2 adults in it lying next to each other, made for a pretty uncomfortable night's sleep. It was very warm both nights that we stayed, so they would definitely benefit from having a fan in the room or on the wall somewhere. There is a small sink in the room, but the water pressure from the tap was hardly enough to wash toothpaste down so was pretty useless. The shared bathroom facilities were nice and clean, but the toilet was extremely small and cramped. Not much room at all to sit down comfortably. Security was very good, with a key to get into the main entrance and a fob to open the YALE lock on the door to the room. Reception is also available 24/7 which is a good perk. This hotel offered a very competitive rate compared to the majority of others within the area, and we managed to get a good deal for the 2 nights that we stayed.

One night stay to catch an early train. My room was located in the basement (!). Very noisy, thin ceilings you can hear everything and you hear the subway very much too. Tiny bathroom and last, the blanket is not big enough to cover all the bed length… To avoid.
