The Alhambra Hotel garners praise for its impeccable cleanliness and high standards, with numerous guests highlighting spotless rooms. While reviewers acknowledge that the rooms are on the smaller side, the comfort of the beds and the quality of amenities like fluffy towels compensate for the limited space.
Although a few guests have mentioned noise issues, the prime yet quiet location near Kings Cross and St Pancras is a consistent hit among travelers. Service at the hotel generally receives accolades for staff friendliness and helpfulness, contributing to the overall satisfactory value the hotel provides.

Detailed Reviews
This nice little hotel is situated directly across from Kings Cross, so for most visitors, it's a mere five minutes walk from the train to the hotel. I prefer to stay around the Kings Cross stroke Bloomsbury area which I have on many occasions as I find it a great base for striking out on the tourist trail, with Kings Cross being handy for the buses and tube.
I looked on Trip Advisor and found this nice little hotel, which was very reasonably priced and opted to share toileting facilities, I was not expecting much and after reading some of the reviews on here I began to regret my booking, but I have got to say here and now and without fear of contradiction that this little hotel as far exceeded my expectations. Clean, in fact, spotless so, quiet, friendly staff, no complaints at all. Also, I could have up-rated my room for twenty quid a night extra, but I elected to stick with my original booking.
To recap it irks me to say this because I would like to keep this nice little hotel a secret to popularise thus may lead to me having no room at the inn next time I re-book because I would definitely stay here again and I, therefore, award the Alhambra top marks. Nice little hotel that has not disappointed this guest.P.S I'm still here and enjoying it.

Hard to beat location only 2 min walk to St Pancreas International Station and 5 min walk to Kings Cross Station. If you’re heading on the Eurostar to France or beyond this is hard to beat. Well priced, Very helpful and great service. Take the 8.54am to Calais and you’ll have time to enjoy the awesome breakfast buffet at this great accommodation. We took a room with a bathroom in it, small but all we needed. The hotel rooms actually span houses on both sides of the street. Only a one hour stroll to Trafalgar Square. Terrific.

This is a relatively inexpensive hotel in a very expensive neighborhood. Keep this in mind when creating your expectations. Like many of the nearby hotels, this is a converted row house. The rooms are very small with, in my case, the toilet and shower in two separate rooms down the hall. This is not a destination hotel, but is a great option if what you seek is a safe, clean place to sleep and use as a base for exploring London. The front desk is staffed 24/7 and I enjoyed my interactions with them.
The room had a comfortable bed and an adequate set of towels. (Americans, please note there was not a wash cloth included.) My room was on the third floor (4th floor to Americans) with no lift. The staircases and hallway were very narrow so hauling up my luggage was an adventure. I do not recommend this hotel for people with mobility issues. For me, I absolutely loved the fact that the double hung window fully opened, both top and bottom. My room also had a small fan which was a life saver during the warm weather happening while I was there.
There are many restaurants and shops with a wide variety of fare in the immediate neighborhood. King's Cross and St. Pancras stations are literally one-half block away.
To summarize, for those with minimal needs and expectations, this clean, safe and professionally run hotel is a good choice in an excellent location. If you want expensive luxury, try somewhere else.

This hotel is a stone’s throw from Kings Cross station, down a quiet side street. We were first placed in a room on the ground floor which was very compact for the three of us. I am a very light sleeper and found that I could feel the vibrations from the trains on the tube through the night. After two nights of no sleep I asked to be moved to a higher floor which was easily accommodated. The second room was a bit larger and more comfortable. Breakfast is good with bacon, eggs, pancakes, cereals, yoghurt etc. Good, central location.

It is conveniently located on a quiet alley that is a mere four minute walk to the King's Cross subway station. The hotel is cozy and all of the people we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Katarina, at the front desk, was extremely helpful and answered all of the questions we had about travel around the city. The breakfast was great; even though we were there for six straight days, we never got tired of it since there was so much variety. I guarantee that if/when I return to London, i will stay at the Alhambra.

Overall we had an ok experience, and might consider staying here again in future if we're on a tight budget. The hotel is perfect location wise, being only a few minutes walk from King's Cross train station, which was ideal for us when we went in August. The stairway to get up to the 3rd floor on which our room was was quite narrow, so just be aware if you have larger luggage that you might struggle. The room itself was nice and clean, but the bed definitely was not a double size as advertised. I have a double at home, and it was definitely smaller. Struggled to fit 2 adults in it lying next to each other, made for a pretty uncomfortable night's sleep. It was very warm both nights that we stayed, so they would definitely benefit from having a fan in the room or on the wall somewhere. There is a small sink in the room, but the water pressure from the tap was hardly enough to wash toothpaste down so was pretty useless. The shared bathroom facilities were nice and clean, but the toilet was extremely small and cramped. Not much room at all to sit down comfortably. Security was very good, with a key to get into the main entrance and a fob to open the YALE lock on the door to the room. Reception is also available 24/7 which is a good perk. This hotel offered a very competitive rate compared to the majority of others within the area, and we managed to get a good deal for the 2 nights that we stayed.

I normally stay at a friends house when I visit London, however, with the tube strikes affecting travel, I decided to stay in a hotel.
From start to finish, this was a really pleasant experience. The check in at reception was friendly and smooth (I like the opal fruits on the counter!) and my bedroom/bathroom was clean. It provided just want I wanted - close to Euston station and walking distance to where I needed to get to. Tea/Coffee making facilities in the room were a welcome addition. The cost of the room was roughly £130 and taking in the fact that normally I'd have spent £50-60 on Uber's if not staying central, it was worth the money. It also meant I could leave my luggage at the hotel and not carry it around everywhere.
I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed in this hotel for ten days with my girlfriend during a holiday in London. The structure, housed inside a typical English house, is located in a street very close, a few hundred meters, from the King's Cross St. Pancras underground station. There is an entrance to the underpass, very convenient when it rains or to avoid surface traffic, on the same side of the road. On the ground floor there is the reception with a small shop where you can buy drinks and snacks. After registration you are given a bunch with a key to open the main door and an electronic key to open the room door. The corridors and stairs are narrow but you can get through with your suitcases. Our room with a double bed was on the first floor, it had a private bathroom with a very spacious shower. It was equipped with a flat-screen television, wardrobe, desk with chair and a single bedside table. The temperature inside was very high, so we opened the window slightly to let some air through. The area is quiet and very convenient for getting around the city both by public transport and on foot. The prices are honest.

My wife and I stayed at the Alhambra Hotel for one night in April 2022, as we had an early trip on Eurostar the following morning. The hotel is perfectly located, just a couple of minutes' walk from St Pancras Station.
The Hotel is maintained to a high standard. It is well decorated, spotlessly clean and all staff were friendly and helpful. Even though there were no phones in the room and we stayed in the building across the road, someone kindly knocked on our door at 6.00 am as requested, and extra pillows were supplied when asked for.
Our stay was comfortable and enjoyable and we would definitely stay again.
Thank you very much.

This small hotel is practically across the street from King's Cross-St. Pancras transport hub, including the Tube, National Rail and Eurostar. Apart from being superbly located, it's a modest yet clean and comfortable place: rooms are in the smallish side, but if you're in London you're probably not staying at the hotel the whole day, anyway. There's a decent breakfast included in the room rate, and the staff was unfailingly polite and nice. The rates are quite good for awfully expensive London. I would return.

I dont know, sorry
Some rooms en-suite - these are the only ones we have stayed in. Others have shared bathroom- possibly between 2 rooms.
Hi there, my double room was very clean with a comfortable bed and a private bathroom. However, the room is quite small and the bathroom will be a very small shower room. I knew to expect this, so it wasn't a problem. Location, cost and breakfast made it acceptable for a trip to London.
