This hotel is perfect for visiting Covent Garden, Royal Opera House or any of the West End theatres. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The beds are comfortable with lovely white cotton sheets. It is only 5 minutes walk from Covent Graden tube station and of course close to all of the spatter actions that Covent Garden offers. We hope...

Although they were over-crowded at check in, they managed all well. they've got a friendly staff team. The rooms are not spacious, but comfortable enough. I only had some problems with the wifi, and asked them to change my room. Make sure to ask them to give you a room somewhere with good wifi signal!

One of the most compelling reasons to visit London is theater, and the Fielding puts you right in the middle of the theater district. Also steps away from Convent Garden and Long Acre Street with a 5 minute walk from the Convent Garden Underground with its direct 45 minute train to Heathrow. Also, very easy walking access to Westminster, Embankment,...

We loved this hotel! We booked it because it was near to the New London Theatre, where we were seeing School of Rock with our kids. Hotels with family rooms, other than the chain hotels, are hard to find in this area, but we thought The Fielding was perfect! The room was on the top floor, resulting in a lovely,...

Our second stay at this hotel proved as good as the first. It's not the right place for anyone wanting a glossy predictable chain but for anyone wanting character and comfortable individuality it's perfect. The rooms have been designed to fit into an old historic building rather without destroying the character. And it is in a superb traffic free lop...

The staff, the amenities the location made this hotel a great find for us. Already recommended it to friends and family. When calling it a night we referred to the .Fielding as home not Hotel. Never felt so comfortable and welcomed. The staff , was so friendly accommodating and helpful. For the price , the location you can't do better.

Back in London for my annual stay and it doesn't change. Friendly welcome as usual, location is everything with food and drink available within yards. It's clean and tidy, small perhaps but it is a converted townhouse after all and a little frayed in places but that adds to the charm. I've stayed in nearby chain hotels but this is...

This is about our fourth time here the hotel is perfect for Covent Garden and the shows, the rooms are clean with plenty of shower etc products, there are plenty of towels too, the hospitality tray has plenty of tea, coffee, chocolate and biscuits which is very important when there is no bar or restaurant!! The staff were charming as usual!!

Neighbourhood Profile
Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
