Very quirky hotel with an incredibly good location (just off Oxford street and very close to Marble Arch Station) and very reasonable sized rooms. As I love quirky – a side effect of spending lots of time in business hotels – the cosy, the atmosphere and sort of period decoration of the Zetter was perfect. My wife adored the coffee...

Fun place to stay or have afternoon tea or a drink near Marble Arch. Open fire and charming service, popular and small so book. Lots of things to look at on the walls and around eg Chinese vases and old crockery on deep red walls. Noise level fairly high. Afternoon tea was excellent and a lot of it. But not...

I'm a Londoner but now live in Sydney, I was meeting friends for dinner at the Berners Tavern (go!) and wanted a hotel relatively close to Great Portland St that wasn't the typical modern soul less fee as I am on holiday not businessl. I was really hoping for stepping through the door into a Sherlock Holmes era - and...

Very satisfied with my recent four night stay at this hotel. I always start my stay in Marylebone when visiting London, but usually at the Mandeville. After reading the glowing reviews I decided to give the Zetter a try and I'm really pleased I did. First off, great location - it's the reason why I stay in Marylebone. Secondly it's...

Gorgeous opulent rooms. Treated my fiancee to an overnight stay here with dinner. Very happy. Service was impeccable. The restaurant and bar had a great vibe and delicious cocktails. The rooms were plush but eclectic. Felt like something out of a Parisian boudoir.

I know the Zetter chain because I have used the hotel (in Clerkenwell) often. The town house in Marylebone was close to where I had to be for a couple of days and it turned our to be so much more than a convenient place to stay. Really well appointed rooms, great staff, and small but functional and cosy reception...

4th time I'd been, this time with my 19 and 20 year old daughters to treat them (their twin room was very generous). You step off the street through a single door like accessing professional chambers into a room styled like a boudoir in the John Soane Museum. It's welcoming in the day, and at night fills up as a...

I travel constantly for work and leisure and have stayed in all kinds of hotels, but after this three night stay in London, the Zetter has become one of my favorite hotels in the world. The hotel has every modern convenience, but feels like the London I dreamed about visiting as a kid. My best description is a kind of...

Just had a delightful stay. The room was beautifully furnished and equipped, service friendly and thoughtful. Bed like a cloud. Only slight quibbles was for an old lady like me the lovely deep bath was a bit of struggle to get in and out of and the quilt was so tightly tucked in so far down the bed I had...

This is a lovely and intimate setting. Rooms are beautifully appointed. Staff is welcoming and accommodating. But please note this is not a hotel in the typical sense. There is no concierge or other such amenities.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
