Located a reasonable walking distance from Paddington Train and Undergraound Stations and Lancaster Gate underground station, this hotel is in a strategic spot if you need to hop onto Heathrow Express or catch the tube to other areas of London. There are many reasonably priced and good quality restaurants very close to this hotel. The front desk staff were very professional. The room was a bit hot, but there are fans to assist with air flow on warmer days such as those we experienced. The bathroom is reasonably sized and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean. Breakfast was ok for a continental breakfast: cheese, cold cuts, boiled eggs, pastries, breads, whole fruit, cereal and yogurt. This hotel is a good value and in a great location.

My boyfriend and I stated here on Saturday and we're not disappointed.
Given its great location near Hyde Park, we think the value for money was excellent.
The room was clean, warm and quiet and the continental breakfast was plentiful with lots of fresh fruit and quality ham, cheeses and bread among other things.
The staff were welcoming and helpful also.
I can't fault it!

A terrific hotel option in Paddington, London - less than 10 minutes walk from the station. Friendly staff too. The rooms are basic - all twin rooms of a modest size (as are all hotel rooms in London!) but they are clean as is the bathroom. The rooms have a shower over the bath arrangement - again very clean. The hotel has a snack bar/soft drinks area downstairs that you can buy items from for a very reasonable price. Continental breakfast for those who book direct was very good and the breakfast room always had a space for us. Recommended for those looking for something reliable on a budget.

What a real treat to catch up with the familiar faces of staff who have become friends over the years. I've been staying here regularly for 13 years on business and over the years the hotel has steadily invested in things like updated rooms, bathrooms, double glazing, Virgin wifi. The list goes on. Simple things like choice of various teas at breakfast and in the room. It's clean and comfortable providing mid-range quality at budget prices, which is why I keep coming back. And the location is fantastic, with memories of the big screens in Hyde Park during the 2012 Olympics, for example. It's easy to get anywhere in London, such as Heathrow in the west by Elizabeth line. Yes it's now open. When I visited in March it was still branded as TFL rail. Or there's the Heathrow Express if you're in a hurry. Many buses and tube lines will get you from Lancaster Hall to anywhere in central London very quickly. In short, great location, great value and lovely staff. Thank you!

A very professionally run hotel, great location, excellent staff, and extremely clean.. The breakfast buffet was extremely good and very efficiently run. The only thing was that the mattresses were very soft but everything else was fantastic value. Highly recommend!!

Our family of 4 (2 Adults, 2 Teens) were so pleased with the hotel services! They went above our expectations & catered to our every need. The breakfast was always plentiful & included with our stays, the hotel desk clerks were always friendly & made us feel welcome (even printed our plane tickets for us), the place was clean & well maintained, was in a perfect location & only 8 minutes away from the Baywater Toot Bus Stop (Hop-on-Hop off Tours), had storage luggage, and had souvenirs. We recommend their Kensington Garden hostel to all Family’s of 4 wanting to visit London. Enjoy!

My wife and I had an extended family visit, staying at this hotel. The hotel was outstanding value for money with a very comfortable room, excellent breakfast and exceptionally helpful and friendly staff.
We have stayed at other more expensive hotels in the same area of Lancaster Gate and this hotel beats all of them.
I would strongly recommend The Lancaster Hall hotel if you are staying in this area of London.

Great location close to underground stations. On arrival our room was ready and we were able to check in early which was great. End of stay we were able to store cases in luggage room which was a great help.
The reason I only rate a three is the beds. The most uncomfortable night I have ever had, hardly slept all night. The mattress was so soft it practically touched the bed base when I lay on it. Every time I moved it made an awful noise and felt like it was going to collapse. Also first night there was a family with young children in a room nearby, the children were running round their room screaming very loudly until midnight. Not great when you’re trying to get an early night. All in all the room a bit dated and the beds in desperate need of replacing.

I stayed almost 3 weeks and the staff were attentive, professional, friendly & helpful! I would stay here again and recommend! There's 4 tube stations nearby and many bus stops. The hotel has a lift, which is great when you have heavy luggage or tired feet. My room was spacious with a nice view.
There are many cafe's and pubs around this neighborhood and it's safe.
Beds were soft, but comfortable, good tea and instant coffee provided in the room. The desk was great for my laptop.

The hotel is in a good location with pubs, restaurants and cafes in the same street. The reception staff are friendly and helpful with direstions. Can't say the same about one of the staff who manned the bar one evening and was in the restaurant the following morning. He looked as if he crawled out of bed without combing his hair. If you do stay there take your own shampoo, conditioner and tissues...these items are not provided. There is also no bar fridge in the room. The shower is over the bath so not suitable for people who are getting on in years.
