A short walk from Euston Station, Russel square tube station. The hotel is a two star as you can tell from the price . Staff were friendly and helpful and checking in went smoothly . Our room was on the 7th floor which was great as it was quiet and no smell of curry that you do get on the...

Stayed for 1 nite here and it was really nice, only, 10min walk to St pancras station and around 5min walk to British museum. Location for us was great and thought it was good value for money, staff are very pleasant and helpful. Read some reviews where people moaning about the room size but tbh there's more than enough room...

The Tavistock Hotel, Tavistock Square is approximately 1.2 miles from theatre land. 15-20 minutes walk or local tube Russell Square quicker. Hotel was cheap and cheerful. Room very basic but clean and functional. Bath with shower over that was very powerful, again very clean. Hotel has a distinctive smell of curry all over as has an Indian restaurant located on...

We would not ever recommend this hotel to anyone disabled or otherwise as we encountered many problems. Reception staff were unhelpful and bordering on incompetent and there were issues with certain rooms as documented below. Is is not particularly disabled friendly, there was no ramp to help our wheelchair users access the front entrance and then there were issues with...

The hotel is well located near a tube station opposite Tavistock park. British museum is close by. The rooms are clean with 2 single beds. Bathrooms are clean and functional with good water pressure for the shower. Front desk staff are not that friendly and appear to come from all over the world. Lifts are slow. The breakfast is worth...

I'm unsure about this hotel as I like a big bed and only got a single bed. There were marks on the bed sheets and there was no duvet but still OK for a sleep. The bathroom was good as had a bath and a shower. The decor is quite dated and the staff were helpful. I think the breakfast...

I've stayed at the Tavistock before and have written two other reviews but would like to add this one. It's a great location - Russell Square - and the room is quite large for a single. There's a comfortable armchair rather than a stool to sit on, the beds are comfortable and even though the radiator was off, the heating...

The hotel location is 5 min walk to Euston and 5 mins walk to Russell Sq. underground too. Very pleasant and attentive reception and porter desk personnel, dining room were less so. Hotel is clean and tidy. Rooms are bog-standard. We were lucky and had a room with a view over Tavistock Square which was nice. There was enough wardrobe...

Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum.
