I have stayed at this hotel many times. It never fails to impress, particularly the cleanliness and the friendly and efficient staff. I have experienced limited mobility problems due to multiple knee operations and the staff have done everything they could to accommodate my needs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone - it really is a joy to stay... More

I visited the hotel on a business trip for one night. The hotel check-in was difficult, seemed confused with too many staff getting in each others way. My booking wasnt registered correctly so check-in took around 10 minutes. The room was good, nice amenities, TV and bathroom with mini-bar, can't fault it with a good view of the street below.... This was the first time my friends and I had stayed at this Hotel and it won't be our last. From the moment we set foot in the Hotel, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff, the room was ready and very comfortable. We had a few problems with the transfers we had organised independently and the Concierge was... More

Stayed one night on business. The staff are uber helpful. The rooms are OK with plenty of toiletries although the bed was a little firm. The corridors are somewhat tired and the bar in the lobby expensive but this is central London. Breakfast was the high spot with lots of choice and good quality.

I'm not exactly sure I would call it 5-star (I think that should be reserved for Four Seasons and the like). But certainly 4 star, and very good value for price. This was my 2nd stay here, after the first one 5 years ago. Our Executive Twin room was spacious and had very good amenities. The Holborn tube station is... More

It's centralised location was very convenient to us.King's College Strand campus was a 10 minute walk away. There was a Malaysian restaurant at the... More

Had a three night stay here and everything was fine but, as with other Grange properties I have stayed in, the bar is a weak link. On two occasions we ordered two drinks from waitress who then sent over a second person to take order again. Usually a long wait to be served and the Irish coffee we ordered was... More

Last year I did a review which was a 3/5 because our room was not in any way comparable to a 5 star in the USA, as it was listed to be. This year our room was cleaner (rugs and furniture and bedspread/throw), the room and bath larger, just much nicer in general. The staff seemed friendlier this year also.... More

We had a one night stay on a weekend on London. The staff were helpful allowing us to book in early. The room was very small for a double. The location is ok; it's a 5 min walk from Holborn tube. When we got back late the room was freezing and no way to adjust the temperature. The breakfast buffet... More

The hotel is well situated in the heart of London, staff where friendly and courteous. The room was a king executive however tired looking and old fashioned. As the hotel is on busy roads there was quite a lot of noise despite the double glazing. Overall an ok hotel perhaps not quite worth the money

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
