I stayed for one night prior to a gig at the Roundhouse. I stayed in the girl's dorm, and mostly it was fine, as you would expect for a central London hostel but nothing more. Pros - room had six bunks, great large lockers under the beds (bring your own lock), and plenty of sunlight (big windows) and airflow. There...

Stayed here for the second time a few weeks ago. Approx 20 of us who had come up from Sheffield to see Proud Mary and Twisted Wheel at the nearby Purple Turtle. I had stayed here before for a test match at Lords a few years ago but I know a few of the lads were apprhensive about staying in...

My experience is based on one night only, I went to St Christopher's Inn to sleep and took off early the following day. I stayed in a female-only dorm with five other girls on the third floor. I had checked the price of the bed online but had not yet booked my stay before arriving at the hostel. It turned...

My boyfriend and I stayed in the dorms at this hostel for just one night in July. After having had a great experience staying at St Christopher´s Oasis in the centre of London, we booked this hostel assuming all St Christopher Inns were on par. We were sadly disappointed. We arrived in the evening and had to wait quite a...

Staying in Camden

Neighbourhood Profile
Camden
Famous for its sprawling cluster of markets and shops as well as for an embrace of all things counter culture, Camden offers a concentrated version of London street life. From bargain shopping and people watching to rubbing elbows in its abundance of pubs and bars, Camden is the place to be for many a Londoner. It is also home to some of the hottest live music venues in Europe. As packed as Camden High Street and its tributaries can get during the weekends, this neighbourhood is right next to some of the city's most beloved outdoor spaces, namely Regent's Park and Primrose Hill.
