We stayed here for 3 nights and we loved the hotel. The location was amazing - within walking distance of lots of tourist areas and landmarks and really close to the Victoria Palace theatre. The breakfast was delicious each day. The room was a good size and comfortable. The one small issue we had was that it was very warm at night and we didn’t have the controls for the air conditioning. Overall, though, we had an amazing stay and would definitely return.
Hotel is in a great location for sightseeing and theatres. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was ideal, well cooked and plentiful…
Lovely family hotel - clean rooms, comfortable bed and great value for money. Thank you for my breakfast this morning Emily - delicious! My new go to place now when overnighting in London. Thank you and see you soon
This is value for money par excellance ! And I mean that in the most positive way. So; not in the "pay-less-expect-less" way but in the "pay-less-than-big hotel-chain-and-get--quite-a-bit-more" way. I arrived late in the evening so, a nice personal, no fuzz, check-in experience was just what I needed. The highlight for me was the breakfast service. A table with my name on it (nice touch. no "what's your room number?" questions) , super professional staff and excellent quality. Bonus: parking just 100 metres across from the hotel (not a given in central London) I'll be back.
We had a super visit to this hotel for our anniversary. Booked a superior double and it was worth it for the huge bed and extra space! It was on the ground floor too. Breakfast (included with price) was amazing & much talked about by others. Open to non-residents for b/fast too if staying nearby. Lots of choice and very friendly staff (the owners, I think). Not serving dinner currently but there are plenty of places to eat close to hotel. Would definitely return to eat breakfast and/or stay in the future.
What a lovely place! The staff were so kind and welcoming, and really went the extra mile to look after me. I was there as a solo woman business traveller and I felt so well looked-after and comfortable. Great room - really comfortable bed, lovely bathroom with fab shower. And the location is pretty unbeatable. I'll definitely be back.
My daughter and I stayed 3 nights and the service from all staff was out of this world - I would recommend anyone to stay, personal service, lovely breakfast, I was on crutches and nothing was too much trouble - Food and drink brought to our room for my daughter who was convalescing. When we ordered a take out this was brought to our room too. Great location, warm and exceptionally clean rooms. Thank you !!!!
I didn't actually stay at the Windermere, but wish I had. I stayed about 6 blocks away and walked every morning to the cafe/bistro they run for breakfast. It is clean, the people are very helpful and treat everyone like a friend. If I could have gotten out of the place I was staying without huge fees, I would have gone to the Windermere. Highly recommend it.
Just had a lovely stay in this cosy family run hotel. Very clean rooms with a really comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast in the Pimlico Grid downstairs which set us up for the day. Owners & staff were all friendly & helpful. Quiet location close to Victoria train & coach station. Would definitely recommend.
Had the most wonderful visit to the Windermere Hotel, a little gem in the heart of London. A very warm and welcoming atmosphere, lovely room and superb start to the day with a tasty breakfast. I would highly recommend this superb family run hotel to anyone seeking a short break with easy access to centre of London
