Let me be clear, there is Maida Vale, an upscale suburb and there is Kilgore, a working mans town. This hotel sits on the boundary between the two. It is located between an English Pub that is the hangout for Albanians and a Muslim Center of London. It is on the BakerLoo line so its a 7 minute walk to...

We arrived at kings cross and used the tube to get to Maida Vale. Found hotel good. We had a good experience at check in. Had a brilliant room. The view just looked on to more of the hotel but we only used our room on an evening to unwind after the hustle and bustle of the city. All staff...

Just stayed here for 1 night with my husband and 3 children. First off the lady at reception was excellent very professional yet friendly and helpful. I received free WIFI and my 3 children each received a little gift containing chocolate ,puzzles and christmas colouring in sheets safe to say they were happy from the off. The room was beautiful...

of course, comfortable beds and as a newly refurbished room, clean and welcoming. however, the new bathrooms seem to have an electronic drawing system that gurgled every 40 minutes or so - so, not the best sleep in the world... having made the point, a new room was found - less noise, but not much understanding of poor sleep.

I've stayed here probably a dozen or so times ober the last 2-3 years. It has all the usual Marriott features that you would expect, plus of course loyalty perks. Arrangement with the Health club next door for pool access. Exec lounge if you have gold card or better. Recently refurbished some of the rooms - and they're very nice....

When I pay a decent price for a hotel I expect the basics and if there is a problem I expect it to be put right..... . I am a big Marriot fan in general or at least was. No hot water is one of the basics I expect. Nothing sets up a day in London for the wife like...

Dear rdh63, Thank you for sharing your experience of our hotel and we apologise that our previous private responses to you did not meet with your satisfaction. We do appreciate the seriousness of the issues you raised and worked hard to resolve the issue with hot water which was completed within the hour. We acknowledge that one of our four...

What it says on the tin! Only 4 stops from Paddington, clean and very comfortable. Freshly renovated, quite large rooms. Bit disappointed that we had to pay extra for wi-fi, £7.99 per day! Also, shower was a bit cold, and no biscuits, just tea and coffee making facilities. One of the two lifts were out of order, so had quite...

Nice stay, although the breakfast buffet did not start until 7, and we had to be out by 7 for business meetings, so could not take advantage of it. We got conflicting information about what to do if we could not make the buffet---room service with a service fee might have been offered in place of the buffet for those...
