The hotel is a 1min walk from stepney green tube station (fyi this station has no lift & 3 sets of stairs)

The staff were so welcoming and friendly at every encounter and always acknowledged us. They were lovely with my 5year old who was made to feel very special.

The room was clean and as expected for a travel lodge. The room had aircon which for the London heatwaves was great!

Breakfast was really good value with the kids eat free option. This was paid for on a morning whenever we wanted to eat at the hotel and was served untill 11am - this worked well after late evenings around London meaning we didnt have to rush to get up in the mornings.

The food in the evening wasnt very good so I'd recommended eating elsewhere or ordering food to the hotel which was easily done.

There is a dessert shop almost next to the hotel, 'Sweet' with the best milkshakes and pastries and the staff opened early for us for breakfast on the days we didnt eat at the hotel. They make everything fresh if you want fresh pancakes or waffles.

Location to the attractions is good, the district line (green) runs very regularly and the hammersmith line (pink) also goes through the station but wasnt very often during our stay. It took around 18-20mins to Westminster ie Big Ben with one tube all the way.

I would happily stay again.

I found myself there because was impossible to find other option with so short time and budget. The area might be shocking from someone from Spain as my case, not used to see burkas and covered women, but the area just does not look great, and I was just starting to think it was a mistake. But once you are at the hotel, you forget about what are the surround. The hotel has a very nice team, that explain everything you need, the rooms are big, clean and with nice windows some, with a small one others, but at night, the room has enough artificial light to feel comfy.
Breakfast is one of those things I normally don’t use at hotel, because they charge to much and I don’t like. But the ones here is just perfect, good selection, and reasonable price. Go for it!
Once you are out the hotel, just takes 2 minutes to the tube. And if late you hungry , you can cross the street and grab something, double check you can pay with card. Or as I did, just order a pizza at the hotel. There is a restaurant just in front, Many’s, do not go there, frozen food payed as fresh.

BUT there is a lovely hidden part of London that is a nice walk from hotel, I could have just 10 minutes walk and back, but when I released this was the canals, I did a lovely one for more that 2 hours. Just be a traveler, not a tourist, explore!

Well positive experience for the hotel, and will use them for a quick business Tryp, even the same one, be so close of the tube is great.

Many thanks to Champika front desk lady, she is very efficient and helped me to be able to extend my trip one more night without changing room.

From the moment you walk through the door you can feel the welcoming vibe....I was Greeted by a very polite and professional gentleman who swiftly checked me in going through what the hotel has to offer and what is not on offer at the moment due to restrictions. The room was clean, modern and fresh with a fresh scent unlike a lot of other Travelodge Hotels I've stayed in this one has sockets with USB ports either side if the bed. The bathroom was so clean i thought i was the first to use it the shower was amazing the bed was so comfortable i slept really well. i would defiantly stay here again due to the friendliness of the staff and also the cleanliness aswell as the cost of the room its a real bargain......A big thanks to the staff and well done

Disappointed with this 'hotel' not cheap and your rooms are not cleaned or bins emptied if you stay less than 6 days .... they claim it is their Covid Protect+ scheme, but they do not insist guests wear masks nor did any of the staff I saw during my time here. I am now emptying my own bin and taking it down to reception, collecting more tea bags and taking my dirty mugs downstairs. Oh I forgot, I am paying over £230 for the pleasure of staying here for 3 days. Disgusting! Don't bother booking, go to Premier Inn or anywhere else instead

Booked one night stay at London Mile End Travel Lodge due to water and heat boiler issue in my residence. The aim was to have a warm hotel room, hot showers, not be disturbed, sleep and recover from long work hours.

I was met by 3 unsightly and offensive smelling black rubbish bin bags in the corridor opposite the ground floor guest lift.

Luke warm shower. Staff insisted it was 38 degrees by using their hands. I tested it with my personal thermometer and it was 36 degrees.

Loud noisy ceiling air con/ heating unit, kept making noises that were not sound of air, even when I switched it off. Nothing was done to fix it.

Rude house keeper banged on my door, waking me up- despite do not disturb sign on my door. She then insisted my room needed cleaning as the hotel told her it was empty- clearly it wasn’t I was in the room. She shouted at me and said I needed to go to reception ( 3 floors down) to speak to the staff there. I was in pyjamas, went three floors below and spoke to staff at reception in front of a restaurant full of guests eating their breakfast. Reception staff offered me breakfast after rude housekeeper incidence then late checkout after checking the shower. Both offers were of no use by then as I had to leave for a work shift.

None of advertised NHS discount codes within expiry period, worked to book any roos on the website. My impression is NHS staff are being used for free publicity and PR boost by travel lodge, whilst company doesn’t honour the NHS discount.

I left for work, after lukewarm shower and 3 hours of interrupted sleep and feeling stressed due to incident with house keeper.

All the usual good quality at a great price from Travelodge and the fact that the hotel was fairly new meant that everything was very sharp. I’m fond of the new colour scheme in the standard rooms as I find it a bit more relaxing.

The star here for me was one of the cleaners. As I was trying to find my room she could not have been more helpful. Most would turn a blind eye and carry on with what they’re doing but she saw I had gone the wrong way and immediately came to help me find my room and guided me there. She had a very professional and polite manner. You should get her out of the rooms and in the front desk! :)

Unfortunately I did not catch her name but she was working on the first floor at 3pm and was a slim black woman, hopefully Travelodge have any sort of recognition scheme or way of passing feedback on.

We stayed at the Travelodge Hotel on Mile end road near to Stepney Green tube station.

Location was good close to buses and stepney green station so easy to get around.

Easy check-in, Room was clean we stayed with family of 4 with towels provided and had only shower, with tea coffee in room.

Staff were friendly and helpful at all times, especially Junaid (assistant manager) helped us with cot and everything else we asked was on at hand all times and ensured we had a nice stay (many thanks).

Breakfast was same everyday basic and standard.

The thing we didn't like was the rooms where only cleaned if you stay for 7 days or more, we stayed with family for 7 days, however we asked cleaner on our floor to vac room and he did so, but the stays for 5 days or more room should be cleaned regularly.

We recommend this hotel because of location, nice buget, staff hotel.

This was my first time staying at Travelodge Mile End and I was very impressed with my whole experience. I was very happy with the cleanliness of the hotel and my hotel room, and I felt the decor and layout of the hotel and room were different to other Travelodges I’ve stayed in, this felt more like an upgrade. The staff were very friendly and welcoming which was very comforting. This was the first time using a Travelodge bar, it was very cosy and the food was really good for the price. The breakfast was brilliant and I felt there were plenty of options to choose from. I also noticed that the hotel provides infused water, which is an added bonus, the flavours are changed daily and was a lovely touch. I was also relieved to find out that we are able to leave luggage on check out, which meant I did not need to stress about that on check out day. Overall my stay was amazing, and I would gladly return and recommend to my friends & family!

It´s a fantastic place to stay. This travelodge is carefully mainteined by a super friendly portuguese manager, and all the little details are well taken care. I was there with my family and the family room was just right for us. Beds confortable, nice shower, great heating and super quiet. Location superb, right next to a ASDA supermarket and a few steps from Stepney Green station. The one down is they don´t do the cleaning and change the bed, just empty trash bin and change towels. Besides that, I recommend staying for the best price in this part of London.

A great place to stay, near family who don't have room for relatives to stay.

Normally first night at hotels I struggle to sleep because of mattress or pillows.

We hit the pillow and went straight off the sleep. Didn't wake once all night. Nice dark room no iratating lights from fire alarm sensors or the green emergency lighting ( we did have emergency lighting in place it was not intrusive like some)

We stayed for breakfast and local family were able to join us too which was nice. Kids eat free - though it was not well advertised at time of booking.

Breakfast had a nice selection and was all ready as a buffet at 8am. Kids ate a range of foods so that was great.

Overall a great budget place to stay!
