Experience London in style at The Henry. The Victorian-era exterior features grand pillars and charming balustrades. And the elegance doesn't stop there. You'll find modern design, pops of color, and sleek marble bathrooms inside. With a coffee bar in the lobby, resist the temptation to stay in or take advantage of your prime location for exploring Bayswater. Grab a pint at the Leinster Arms pub. Take a stroll through the exquisite Kensington Palace Gardens. And try to find the impressive Leinster Gardens False Facades — building fronts created solely to conceal the railway track behind. Whatever way you spend your London stay, start it at The Henry.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful and quiet area within Kensington very close to Paddington Station and many other underground stations. Very close to Hide Park and 50 minutes walk to Picadilly Circus area. Hotel was recently refurbished. Staff very sweet.

Loved the hotel! I felt safe and comfortable as a solo traveler. The room was small but spotless and the shower was amazing. Appreciated the fresh water on tap downstairs, and the porridge was delicious (note breakfast is an extra charge). I had only a few small complaints. I wish the room had a mini fridge as it would have been nice to keep yogurt and fruit. (Or even access to a communal fridge.) Also it would be nice if the doors had the peep holes so you could see who was out in the hallway. Finally, there was a lot of noise when neighbors went in and out but I am not sure the hotel can do much about that, because the building is historic and the rooms are very close together. Mostly it didn’t bother me. I heard the sound of the Tube below but it didn’t keep me awake (I was on the second floor, so three floors up). Also a shoutout to the staff- they were all very friendly! I would definitely return.

This was the perfect place for my first trip to London. The lobby is beautifully decorated and a lovely place to relax while you wait for your room. There is also a small cafe serving coffee and pastries during the day. There’s also a tap with filtered water to fill up your water bottle. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay.
The room itself was small but very cosy and comfortable, with an extra large single bed that had plush linen. There was also usb points beside the bed which was handy for charging phones etc without an adaptor. The shower was nice and hot with good water pressure and Davines toiletries. The rooms are not serviced daily but there is an essentials cupboard if you run out of any necessities and extra towels were available on request.
The location was very convenient, only a short walk from Paddington station and Kensington gardens is at the end of the street. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops in surrounding neighbourhoods and public transport was easily accessible.
Overall I had a wonderful stay, my only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer. I will 100 percent stay here again next time I come to London. As a solo female traveller, I highly recommend the Sonder.

Great hotel for our weekend trip to London. The location is great, really quiet area but still within a 5 minute walk from the tube.

The rooms are on the smaller side, but everything you could need is provided (tea and coffee facilities, toiletries, a safe, iron/ironing board and hair dryer, smart TV) in the room and the rooms are decorated to a high spec and are spotless!

There's also a free of charge water fountain and bottles to fill for your room in the lobby. No breakfast is included but If you do get peckish there's a coffee/snack bar in the lobby, we had 2 coffees and 2 filled croissants for around £15 for a quick breakfast one morning. There is also no cleaning at this hotel (which was fine for our 2 night stay) but spare toilet rolls etc can be picked up from the lobby as needed. If you do have a longer stay, you can have a clean scheduled for £25.

We will definitely be back! Thanks

We stayed from 3-5 March 2023 and we were really impressed. The room was small but when you’re out enjoying London all day that doesn’t matter. Also, the really tall ceilings make it feel larger too.

The room was super clean and the double bed was comfy. The coffee machine in the room was great and the pods were fab too.

The bathroom is also small. There is a sliding door and it doesn’t lock so I wouldn’t recommend sharing a room unless you’re very comfortable with the other person. Again, the bathroom was REALLY CLEAN and beautifully decorated. The rainfall shower was more than big enough and the water pressure was amazing! The Davine’s products in the shower (shampoo, conditioner and shower gel) are such high quality that you don’t really need to bring anything of your own.

The location is great. Just far enough out of the hustle and bustle. It is in a really safe area and we felt really comfortable walking around day or night. There are lots of coffee shops, pubs and restaurants within walking distance (within a 10 minute walk). Bayswater and Queensway tube stations are also a short walk away with Paddington also within walking distance.

Kensington Gardens is also close by as well as hop on hop off tour bus stops.

All in all, I would highly recommend staying here and we are looking forward to our next visit.

Hotel was very clean which is probably the most important thing I look for in a hotel. Staff were friendly, accessing the building and rooms with a code is much more efficient. Very modern hotel. Rooms are a bit small but high ceilings and windows stop it from feeling cramped. We stayed for 2 nights and was perfect for us. We did request clean towels, to which I got a text to say they had delivered them (although we didn’t receive any) but in the grand scheme of things I would definitely recommend this hotel 100%.

Perfect stay. I was on a business trip and the location is very central, perfect for getting into the office, nice stroll across Hyde park. The room (single) was small but perfectly formed - the furnishings are stylish and the bathroom fittings are fantastic quality. I got a room with a balcony facing the street. Loved that it wasn’t some underground room with no window, or facing courtyard, which is what I usually get.. anyway, for the price it’s sensational. And a great coffee at the breakfast bar in the morning ☕️

The Henry is a spacious and welcoming accommodation located near Kensington Park. The exterior of the building is an impressive Georgian style which blends in well with the rest of the quiet attractive neighbourhood.

Clean and comfortable sheets and bedding were provided in addition to an excellent mattress, leading to a very good night’s sleep. The front desk staff were warm and helpful upon arrival and at my departure. I experienced no issues upon checking in or out and was able to leave my luggage without any issues while off exploring London for the day .

The room was larger than I expected and the bathroom was the nicest I’ve ever experienced at a hotel. I cannot praise the quality of the shower enough. Superb water pressure and lots of space to move about. The shower head comes arranged in a unique rain/waterfall style orientation.

As far as minor quibbles go, the property could go with some minor soundproofing as I was able to hear other guests of staff late at night and in the morning, but this is a minor complaint. All in all I had a pleasant two night’s stay and would happily return upon my next return to London.

Stylish, classy, and comfortable overall. Highly recommended for either a short stay or a longer accommodation.

The positives are that the hotel is very nicely situated. The staff are pleasant and the bed and the shower were great.
The negative is that the room we had was tiny.Arguably OK for one night but nothing more.
Sleeping proved difficult due to a bright ceiling safety light.
It also irritated that if the room was serviced it would cost an additional £25.
Entry is by texted codes which worked well.

Comfortable QUEEN bed and ample pillows. Room is large by London standards. We had 3 suitcases and a few large shopping bags lined up and had plenty of room to move around. A coffee pot with lids, a Hobbs kettle, an iron and board and a hairdryer were in the room. The bathroom is not large, but very functional with plenty of towels. They do not clean the room but you are welcome to get fresh towels at the front desk We had one big cleaning done mid week for £25. The front desk personnel were the most attentive and helpful we have ever experienced. There are large locked suitcase lockers if you arrive early and a cafe in the lobby for croissants and specialty coffees. The location is great! Nice quiet safe neighborhood with charming and delicious family owned restaurants: Greek (ask front desk), Italian (Bizzarro is delicious and charming) Indian (A taste of India) all A plus for food and atmosphere. Paddington is a four block straight walk, but no problem getting Uber here. We will return.

It’s not really breakfast. It’s a cafe w/ very limited pastries. Many options nearby for breakfast though.
